I worked at Tradebe full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good entry level starting point. Great way to collect a paycheck if nobody else is hiring. Lots of parking available.

    Cons

High middle management turnover, low pay, low raises, zero room for promotion. If you make your goals they leave you alone, if you don't your gone. No long term strategy for safety or environmental programs, this company is accusation focused only. The hourly employees and mangers are worked round the clock, this is not a employer for people who want a life or need continual affirmation.

    Advice to Management

Hire professionals who have a global strategy and vision of what your program should be, and let them do their job. Not every aspect of the organization should be run from a spreadsheet.

I have been working at Tradebe full-time

    Pros

Good "kick start" place to get into the field. Plenty of training, some managers are easy to work with when it comes to scheduling.

    Cons

The plant maintenance has fallen behind, potholes everywhere, simple things that could be fixed or cleaned don't get done. The exposure to the large amount of chemicals.

    Advice to Management

Less time trying to cram every bit of material into the day and focus more on plant maintenance. Overall decent job though.

    Pros

A nice company to begin your environmental career.

    Cons

Employee's are over worked and under paid

    Advice to Management

Do not micromanage! Respect your subordinates. Stop " restructuring " every 3 months, there needs to be better stability at the cooperate level.

I worked at Tradebe full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

If u are new to the industry u might be able to get some experience from the few people that know what their doing,if if there are any left!

    Cons

Equipment is aging Treatment plants need upgrading Treat their customers terrible ! New people they hire need to realize that the customer pays the bills and their paychecks,it doesn't come from the big Tradebe Bank in Spain! Without your Customers YOUR NOTHING!!!

    Advice to Management

This company made a ton of money before U owned it.! Must be why U bought it What happened to were not changing anything! Should have left it alone would have done just fine!.Your lucky your customers don't have many choices to deal with. Its probably why your still in business. Hire all the people that knew what they were doing back, that left or U let go, with a raise!! Then go back to Spain sit back and reap... your profits! Cause U don't do any good here!

    Pros

Lots of miles, great pay and ins. Millington plant workers awesome workers some management in Tn and east Chicago in. Let u do ur job. We get paid 5 different ways some loads pay flat rate to driver not counting on duty and layover pay which we also get paid for. Some loads pays mileage plus hourly and layover pay. Multiple pickups since it is hazmat we get hourly as soon as we get to customer or customers. We also... get a bonus end of month if no problems with paperwork equipment etc.

    Cons

The equipment especially in Millington Tn. The shop is willing to cut major corners to keep trucks rolling, old equipment. Elogs one trk in Millington fleet which is only 11 trks only does 64mph the rest go over 70. Don't know if they'll b turned down. Communication especially coming from east Chicago in plant is a concern not much of it. At times u have to cya on that to make sure ur covered for doin ur job as they... ask u to do. If not they may find a reason to chew you out. Pretty high csa rating due mostly to equipment and accidents and violations.

I have been working at Tradebe full-time

    Pros

Well ,there is a lot of overtime (if that is your thing)

    Cons

So many to list, don't even know where to start. (1) They treat their drivers like crap (really). There is absolutely no respect or appreciation shown to drivers.Eighteen drivers quit in 2014. (2) They have the worst equipment imaginable (the worst in the environmental business) and when anything breaks on their junk, they blame the driver. (3) Pascal is very unorganized. No raises, no room for moving up.

    Advice to Management

Their methods has being so screwed up for a long time, they obviously don't care, therefore they would not care about this post.

I have been working at Tradebe full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Over all it's a decent place to get a good footing and gain some pretty good experience.

    Cons

Pay, Upper management want to over micromanage everything. Problem is upper management have no clue about anything. Very un organize, promise change but never deliver. As some former employees have put it, "this place is stuck in the stone age". All the company really cares about is their bottom dollar.

    Advice to Management

Let the workers do what they do. stop being short sited. and understand that you need to spend money to make money. That and STOP hiring 'ghetto black' people. they bring down production.
