I have been working at Trader Joe's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits Discount Fast paced, every hour something new

    Cons

Inconsistent schedule. Management manages to the survey.

    Advice to Management

Please try to create more stable schedules so people can do more than just work. It can be hard to schedule anything when you lose hours trying to indicate your availability. A person should not lose 8+ hours a week because of a 2 hour class late on a particular day. Also- managers should manage as opposed to letting the crew run the roost. There are two different set of rules 1 for those who complain enough or refuse...

I have been working at Trader Joe's

        Pros

Flexible hours, great benefits, never have to take it home

        Cons

You have to always be "on". It's retail, so people treat you like servants. Introverts will not be successful there.

        Advice to Management

Let your Mates actually know what their career prospects are instead of, "be patient" "Keep working at it"

          I worked at Trader Joe's

          Pros

If you can get 30 hours you get great benefits after your probation period, you’ll need the medical for constant repetitive movement injuries which they will try to pretend didn’t happen there.

          Cons

Everybody is sick, injured and angry all the time because of deliberate understaffing, extremely physical labor, unstable hours, too much work and no home life. Management consists of petty tyrants who operate on favoritism, junior managers are stressed-out and don’t get enough sleep. This is the least “cool” company I’ve had the misfortune to work for. It’s very stressful but you are required to act fanatically cheery...

          Advice to Management

They don’t actually take advice, contrary to their fake “values”.
