I worked at Tradesmen International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was very dedicated to their people and to workers who were placed into local jobs.

    Cons

Sexism, lack of professionalism, bonus structure was not up to par (as promised), moral was low and motivation lacked.

    Advice to Management

Stop doing things the same way just because "it's how it has always been done." Stop living in the past; take the best parts of the industry and get creative. We live in a new era and the trades that this company supports will suffer if people and a purpose are not valued. It shouldn't feel like a good ol' boys club anymore.

I worked at Tradesmen International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great job of you are fresh out of college with limited financial commitment. Get experience and go.

    Cons

They micromanage and make you sit through 7-10 meetings per week. Few people stay for more than a few months. **Watch your paycheck.** we had about 6 "computer glitches" in my 10 months there.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking pride in your high turnover rate. It's not because you are so great, it's because the company micro manages.

    Pros

    Yeah I got nothing period!

    Cons

They say they are not a temp company, but yet have no work that last longer then 2 weeks. Then its like give me more work. Nothing!! Weeks to months later they call. I have worked for them 3 separate times. Same thing every time. Pay is low for JM electrician.

    Advice to Management

San Antonio Office needs to find work for the skilled trades. I have no idea how they stay in business.
