I worked at Tradewinds Island Resorts part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The training for my position was great, and the manager offered to extend training if I needed to. Also, the orientarion was fun, and they give all employees free CPR Certification. The company offers great benefits to full time employees, and many chances for advancement in the company.

    Cons

I wish the pay was a little more for my position, but I did not stay long enough to see the effects of performance evaluations and raises.

I worked at Tradewinds Island Resorts full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Many of the employees have been working there for over a decade. There is a sense of pride and of family. The benefits are very nice as well as the pay. Unfortunately, Covid-19 displaced almost all of us.

    Cons

Upper management tends to forget all the good the the employees do. I'm not saying that it's intentional, because they are under a lot of pressure as well.

    Cons

Management is archaic, it's still 1980 on property. Need fresh ideas and perspectives. Also, a boys club.
