I worked at Traditions Spirits full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cool Prizes, good benefits, and the money can be good.

    Cons

They do not hold to their mission statement of acknowledging their employees as their greatest assets or treating them like family, at least not any kind of family I would want to be a part of. It is organized chaos on every shift at best. They do not enforce many of the policies in the handbook except for ones regarding attendance and cell phone use. Expect to be bullied by management and other team members, expect for the standards to continually change at a moment's notice and to be reprimanded for not following made up expectations that are not communicated. Do not expect them to desire for you to have a healthy work/home life balance or for them to care about what life changing you may be experiencing outside of work.

    Advice to Management

So much time is spent training new management in the positions they will be filling, but not enough time is spent training them on how to manage a team. New leaders in this company could greatly benefit from being trained in weather safety and keeping employees safe and being weather aware during inclimate weather, assertively handling resistance to organizational change, retraining and redirecting toxic employees and behaviors, how to train employees and offer ongoing coaching , engaging and building strong teams, motivating teams to accomplish organizational goals, and restaurant management skills that you desire for your establishments. Get back to the basics and lead the team to accomplish what you are in business to do. Take time to set organizational goals and paths to achieve them and monitor the effectiveness of said paths. Take time to decide the direction you are wanting to lead this company in and follow it. The company is growing in so many directions and while the growth should be celebrated it should not let you lose sight of the needs of the other concepts within this organization.

    Pros

    Employee appreciation efforts and events

    Cons

Constant rotation of employees due to poor retention

    Advice to Management

Stop allowing people to become management who can't perform all aspects of running the outlet. Listen to reviews from those who quit to improve retention.

    Pros

Awesome Management, especially in the beverage department at Winstar casino. Good money even for entry level positions. I have recommended to several people

    Cons

Some customers can be difficult. Money varies by the time of year and what is going on in the building. Not much else bad to say, honestly.

I have been working at Traditions Spirits full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly management. They're very understanding of the fact that life happens. They're always trying to give away gift cards and free prizes as an incentive to stay with the company and remain happy.

    Cons

Long hours. Kitchen is very hot. When you start, you're thrown into the fire rather than extensively trained. Schedule might not always fit your social or family life but eventual seniority will fix that.

    Pros

The H.R. department is solid. And they have their work cut out for them due to favoritism.

    Cons

First off there are very few full time positions available other than for management. They do this to avoid paying for time off. If you want to work for a company who puts recording devices at the bar, this is your company. If you want to see favoritism at its worst, this is your company. If you want to sleep with general managers and higher to get ahead in life, this is your company. If you want to get in trouble because managers can't do the basic requirements of their job, this is your company. But most of all, if you enjoy double talk and getting walked all over, no matter how good you do your job, this is the company for you. Rules are only enforced when management is mad at someone and wants to get them in trouble. Or when management wants to make someone ineligible for promotion.

    Advice to Management

They truly don't care. So why bother?
