I worked at Traffic Shoes full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Holiday lunches
    Good for high school students
    Cute shoes
    Fun work environment
Employees pretty much run the store
    High standards for cleanliness

    Cons

    Low pay
    No holiday/overtime pay
Managers work 12 hours shifts during holiday season
    No communication from home office
Rude IT Department manager NO HELP WHATSOEVER!!
    outdated systems
Cheap !! They don't want to pay for anything including new credit card machines, store lights/replacement, or anything involving the computer system
Systems are always down or being used internally during work hours
Employees get written up for almost anything
Register system is janky...stealing money from employees in my opinion. One minute the register is short the next minute it's not.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees. First chance they get, they will leave!

I worked at Traffic Shoes part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've never had under 25 as a key holder, unless I had to be off on certain days. Most part time retail jobs in GA start you off at $7.25, while the minimum for a sales associate is $8.

    Cons

The company is very unorganized. They make the rules as they go. They don't pay on time or they may try to slide with not paying you AT ALL. No one in the home office owns up to their mistakes. No one in the home office actually cares about their employees or their feedback on how things could and should be improved. They fail to inform their employees of anything ON TIME or at all in some cases.

    Pros

There are no pros for this company.

    Cons

You don't get paid what you are worth. They pay the store manager the same as they pay the Assistant manager.

    Advice to Management

Don't work for this company. Run the other way.

I worked at Traffic Shoes part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

All employees at the Wheaton location worked great as a team. Co-workers and store managers were the only motivation to get up, go to work, and strive to do great.

    Cons

The company doesn't care about the hard work that all of the employees put in to keep the store profitable and customers coming back.

    Wrongful terminations.
Upper management doesn't care for lower management's input to increase sales and better the store.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so cheap! Start caring about the employees if you don't want the company to go bankrupt!

I worked at Traffic Shoes part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Loved working with the public and being around shoes all day!

    Cons

My co-workers made me hate my job. They had a different taste, style, and mindset from my own. Let's just say they could work in an urban area while I preferred Gap.

    Advice to Management

Reconsider who you hire. Not everyone is ment to work in retail.
