    Pros

Compassionate, caring Nursing and CNA/Med Tech staff; beautiful facility.

    Cons

Working part time made me feel disconnected from supervisor and administration staff.

    Advice to Management

Work to stay connected to all staff. This is a 24/7 work environment and it is important to let staff who work weekends and overnight know that you are supporting them.

I have been working at Transitions LifeCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great teamwork, tech savvy, largest home and inpatient not for profit hospice in North Carolina, average daily census 1000+ patients, 400+ full and part time staff, 800+ volunteers

    Cons

Occasionally long hours, however: great support and interdisciplinary approach to patient and signicant others, involvement of family in care as patient declines offset working long hours

    Advice to Management

No advice needed. Management has open door policy, start at team leader, then progress up to department head to CEO, if necessary

Poor communication. Management has their own agenda, bottom line oriented. Expectations that employees go along to get along. Growth at any cost.
