I have been working at Travel Leaders Corporate full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a great set up for there remote employees. Systems and equipment etc arrived and support was great. A large number of employees work from home and they are very well equipped for that.

    Cons

Money isn't the best. But the work from home quality of life you need to take into consideration.

    Pros

I like to travel, so that was a positive. No a lot other than that in this business.

    Cons

Horrible leadership, they have no idea what they are doing or what direction they want to go in. Always making changes and switching their strategy.

    Advice to Management

You need new upper management. Especially in sales.

I have been working at Travel Leaders Corporate full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Most of the people in the company mean well. Friendly staff and agent team. Virtual/WAH option appeals to some.

    Cons

Majority of the staff feel unappreciated and undervalued. Agents are pushed to take the next call as it's about numbers and not about service - which is fine, but don't say you care about the client experience when you really only care about numbers. There is room for advancement, but no one wants it because they see how their supervisors are treated. No raises in years, no 401K match. Certain managers use their "power" to get rid of people they don't like, regardless of how well they perform their jobs just because they don't like them.

    Advice to Management

Quit changing your branding, it's confusing. Please invest in your employees, you still have great people, though many have left, it's not too late.

    Pros

The company treats everyone very well. The technology the company uses is very helpful for all employees, Its a real team effort all around.

    Cons

It is a smaller travel company, not like american express where I have worked before which some people prefer.

    Advice to Management

Try to have everyone get together for a full company meeting.

I have been working at Travel Leaders Corporate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Proud to call Travel Leaders Corporate my employer & home. Company has provided a great deal of growth opportunities to expand outside of my hired role. Executive Management leads with an entrepreneurial mindset in which empowers each & every individual to make actionable decisions.

Each and every individual is considered a LEADER vs. a traditional employee label - tools & resources are provided to ensure each LEADER achieves his or her goals. Would recommend Travel Leaders Corporate to all.

    Cons

Travel industry is ever changing and expanding.

    Advice to Management

Continue to lead by example through empowerment & knowledge transfer.

    Pros

The pros. I can't think of any.

    Cons

NO INCENTIVES. NO PAY INCREASES. Lack of direction. POOR management. No advancement. Training is a joke. Poorly staffed. Rampant lack of respect from management towards agents. Revolving door on accounts due to mismanagement and staff spread too thin

    Advice to Management

Remember the value of your agents and take care of them for a change.

I worked at Travel Leaders Corporate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Its a young company owned by venture capitalists and experienced industry professionals. Offers virtual positions for employment. The original company has an established past in the corporate and leisure travel. Venture capitalist bought a bunch of companies and brought them under the umbrella of Travel Leaders.

    Cons

Company promised a lot of things during employment phase and delivered nil. Also sweet talked and turned around to reorg.

    Pros

    Virtual opportunities are always available.

    Cons

Leadership is weak. No future growth. Low compensation

    Advice to Management

if you have a record setting year share that with the staff. Being in business requires bold decisions by Leadership the staff does not have to suffer back to back years with no raises and loss of reward. Stop recognizing same individuals.

I have been working at Travel Leaders Corporate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a work from home agency which is a plus in most people's eyes.

    Cons

It is very disorganized and decisions are made on the fly. Also, as a lower level employee, you won't receive any kind of recognition of a job well done. There a a chosen few who work on projects and don't get the recognition that they deserve.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a better training department and decisions that affect workflow should be well thought out before just throwing them in place.
