I have been working at TravelPerk full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Whilst it might seem hard to believe that there's so many 5 star reviews, just one day in the office will show you why. The staff and team are dedicated to what they're here to do and given the right tools in the right environment to get it done. That's not to say there aren't challenges to overcome - TravelPerk is a fast growing start up after all - but each challenge is met with agility and a willingness to make things a success.

The ethos and company culture is well shared and understood and the stringent hiring process helps make sure each person is a great fit from all angles. Working at TravelPerk has been brilliant personally and professionally and I look forward to more milestones to come.

    Cons

Start ups aren't for everyone, so if rolling up your sleeves and doing something that needs to be done, even if it's not something you'd usually do, isn't for you then you'd find this a con. For me, it's a chance to pull together and get the result to benefit both the company and our clients.

    Advice to Management

Maintain the great culture and never stop talking about what makes us who we are so it never fades away.

I have been working at TravelPerk full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Honestly I never worked in an environment like this, from human and professional perspective. Is just magic being surrounded by a crowd of super passionate and hyper motivated professionals

    Cons

Life is good when you’ve a good sandwich

    Advice to Management

We should keep the obsession about keeping the company culture as it is (or better) no matter how crazy hyper growth stage we are

    Keep doing what you're doing

I have been working at TravelPerk full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can genuinely see why TravelPerk has 5/5 stars, it's a brilliant place to work. Highly dedicated and enthusiastic people, who are always willing to help each other out. No one takes themselves too seriously and there are plenty of (encouraged) opportunities for socialising and fun. I also appreciate that no one expects you to work round the clock, your work-life balance is respected. You work hard in the day and if you're doing your job well, you're leaving on time. Most of all, it feels like you are surrounded by clever and inspiring people, who are really good at what they do. Which makes it a motivating place to be, no matter what your day consists of. Really impressed.

    Cons

    Genuinely can't think of anything

I have been working at TravelPerk full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company is growing fast and solving a real problem for a huge market. The environment is friendly, innovative and focused.

    Cons

"CONS" is a fundamental LISP function along with "CAR" and "CDR", right? We mainly hack with Python.

I have been working at TravelPerk full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working for TravelPerk has exceeded my expectations. It is like sitting on a rocket that is ready to take off. I have been with the company for a few short months and have already witnessed unprecedented growth and success. They care about the employees that they bring in. You feed off this and as a result each employee is driven to make this one of the greatest success stories and the next BIG start up.

You feel valued and your opinion matters at TravelPerk. They company is not caught up in what is going on around them, rather they focus their energy on the product, their employees and most of all the customers.

TravelPerk offers a great environment where you can grow, learn and not be afraid to make mistakes. You are encouraged to speak up, have opinions and most of all add the the success of the product through ideas and feedback.

The management team respects their employees (it actually har dto see who the management is as everyone is treated equally) and are very transparent in every aspect of the company. There is nothing left unsaid and they hide nothing at all. It is refreshing to feel wanted and know completely 100% what is going on in the company at all times. As most startups can get chaotic at times, TravelPerk is set up in a way that allows us to succeed then to be caught up in the chaos.

Great place to work with amazing talent and management

    Cons

if you are looking for 9-5 this wont work for you. Being a startup you have to be on your toes and willing to go the extra mile. Growing as quickly as TravelPerk is, its all hands on deck.

    Advice to Management

Keep being Transparent. You show tremendous leadership by allowing your employees to do what you brought them on board to do, and that is to succeed. You lead by example and it shows.
