I worked at Travelers full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good middle management. Good camaraderie. Good wages and benefits. Pay is average for this industry.

    Cons

Poor for advancement. Micro-manage employees but overall still a very good company to work for.

I have been working at Travelers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Travelers is good company to work for with excellent benefits including pay, paid time off, and a 5% matching 401k.

    Cons

Heavy load of work is difficult to complete at a manner that is good without working long hours. There is also "red tape" that comes with working for a large company.

    Advice to Management

    1) Hire more help. There is heavy burdens placed on everyone's desk.
    2) Invest heavily in technology as current systems are outdated.
