    Pros

    Excellent development programs, a great place to start a long term CAREER. You’ll feel a great deal of pride at Travelers compared to other companies.
    Culture is Key.

    Cons

    Few if any. Large organizations tend to move slower in terms of getting new ideas on the ground, but this is to be expected.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up, we appreciate the investment you’re making in the company’s future.

    Some systems are very out of date, stress (as much as you let it be) around certain renewal dates.

    Pros

    -Good through training
    -Good pay and benefits
    -Company vehicle

    Cons

    -Micromangement to the extreme, especially in the homeowner's department.
    -Insane workload that is impossible to stay on top off
    -Very High Turnover
    -Management does not have your back.

    Advice to Management

    -Ease back on the micromangement. Allow your employees that you spend over a year training to do their jobs.

    Professional management and leadership; bar is constantly being raised.

    Cons

    Home office is in Hartford, CT and there can be a disconnect and limited career growth if you work in a field office.

    Pros

    The pay is great and the benefits are outstanding.
    There are an exorbitant amount of opportunities for growth, and movement within the company.
    You can tell the company truly cares for its employees, the work life balance is great!
    Travelers is passionate about their new hires and puts a lot of time into make sure the on-boarding process is efficient and sets employees up for success.

    No jean day!
    Besides that I have not noticed anything of concern. This is my first corporate job and I am more than pleased!

    Advice to Management

    Continue to strive for excellence and stay passionate about your employees and their success. If one person fails, the whole team fails!
