    Pros

    - Travelers is committed to actually caring and treating for it's employees. Every day that I go to work I don't just feel like a cog in a machine, I actually feel as though I have worth and that the company does value me. - At Travelers you have frequent meetings with your Unit Manager which really assists in quick learning - Travelers utilizes quality scores just as most companies do now but they are not ever used to punish you, but only to reward you at the end of each quarter with bonuses based on your KPI's. Travelers also allows for reassurances which means that if you disagree with a quality score and have ample proof in the training material to backup your point, you can get your score changed. - Overtraining. At first this might sound like a negative but really we were trained for the worst of the worst situations and I am yet to have one of these experiences but am thankful that I was trained to handle every situation and not rushed out. - Work from home opportunities. Currently I work full-time from home which is a huge benefit and Travelers is even starting to allow in-office workers to work a day from home each week or to work from home due to inclement weather. - Benefits and 401k. You'd expect to get great benefits from a company with 30k employees and you'd right. Travelers offers a great health insurance package as well as a more than healthy amount of vacation time. The 401k match at 5% is also fantastic and you can find discounts ranging from car rentals to hotel stays and discounts on buying new cars. - Travelers operates on the

I worked at Travelers full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pay is on par with industry. Great benefits. Solid financials. Many capabilities to meet agent/customer needs. Good job of keeping an eye on the future.

    Cons

While pay is decent, bonuses are inconsistent and generally bad. Underwriting referral process is overbearing. Re-underwriting of renewals annually. Underwriting authority is on paper only, there is always a “trigger” for referral. Advancement is nonexistent.
