    Pros

It is an extremely fun way to make some money. Wine is definitely a product that sells it self and the is consumable so you always have customers coming back.

    Cons

You have to put in work if you want to be successful. It is not a Con but it is true with direct sales.

    Pros

Traveling Vineyard is so much more than a direct sales company. The love and support that comes from our CEO Rick Libby, world headquarters, support, the social groups, the holiness, etc is simply just out of this world! You can feel the love from everyone especially corporate! I’m especially grateful for no quota. It takes the pressure off, especially when life unexpectedly happens!

    Cons

    No cons here! Nope! Nada.

    Advice to Management

A list of the sets included in the box for new wine guides.

Flexibility to create your own hours
Easy platform to build a team
Great compensation levels that are easy to hit
Tons of friendly support from other wine guides and headquarters
Easy to use apps for order taking
Wines are top notch and will please even your hardest wine critiques
You dont have to be a wine expert
Working at an event is so fun you create a great customer base and friends

    Cons

You'll want to start your own wine stash & all of the wines are AMAZING
Monthly payment to host a website which is super minor but the only negative I can think of

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow our platform on the technology side! It's a real game changer when potentials or even guests see our seamless integration for taking orders, presenting wines, food pairings, etc. I feel our app and dashboard are sleek and advanced. Guests are always impressed at how quickly our wines come and if for some reason something where to happen they love that our headquarters are quick to resolve the issue for them.

I have been working at Traveling Vineyard part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have a job I currently call "the job I have to have!" And this is my "fun job"! And I mean that very seriously... This job has brought me peace and fun and enjoyment and every single on of the 5F's over the past year of working in it!

    Cons

I don't see an out... I started this career hoping that maybe some day I could quit my day job, but until I make as much or more than what Debbie Allen currently makes I keep working my FT job as bread-winner of the family... And that's too much work to do both... Build my biz to Debbie Allen status and run a 24/7/365 operations department of 50 people. I lost a little hope for quitting that has, but keep trucking ahead to pay for fun vacations and the like!

    Advice to Management

Keep making changes. Change is good and you've done a great job adapting to a growing biz!

I have been working at Traveling Vineyard part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Traveling Vineyard is a super supportive company. They provide numerous training opportunities and perks as well as always updating policies and procedures to help the wine guides. They had updated the comp plan to make it understandable and easier to promote. The support staff is quick to respond while professional and kind.

    Cons

I'm at a loss for a con at the moment. A year and a half in and love the company and products!

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! the staff is amazing. The training's are awesome.

I have been working at Traveling Vineyard part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love the flexibility of being an Independent Wine Guide! The start up costs are reasonable, and you can earn back what you spent on it within a few tastings. There are no quotas to meet , which is important to me as I am a teacher, and some months are crazy busy in school. I love and believe in the product, and sharing great wines from around the world with others! The training is online, which is very convenient, and the support from your local team to the corporate office is really great. The CEO welcomes suggestions from everyone, and truly cares about each person.

    Cons

The only "con" in my opinion is that in order to get corporate leads, you have to be at a certain level. Clearly this is subjective; otherwise I would be hard pressed to find any.

I have been working at Traveling Vineyard part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Traveling Vineyard is amazing for busy folks who want some extra income, a new hobby, or even discounts on wine purchases. There are no quotas that need to be met each month, the whole culture is very helpful, inclusive, and encouraging. Training is thorough. I'm so happy I found this company.

    Cons

The commissions are a little low compared to other direct sales companies.

    Pros

Tons of support, great product, they listen to the guides are are constantly improving and evolving

    Cons

I haven’t really experienced any Cons. Maybe because we are still growing on the West Coast there aren’t always regionals close to us. But I know they are making changes.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the amazing job. The support is amazing and I always feel important and part of a family!
