I worked at Travelodge (US) full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No utilities or Rent. Rental provided

    Cons

Job never ends. Stuck 24 hours a day working. Including 3am.

    Advice to Management

Have someone come in once a week to relieve the onsite managers.

I have been working at Travelodge (US) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I got hired? That's about all I can think of.

    Cons

Benefits are mediocre at best. No retirement plan, Healthcare isn't very good. Life insurance is just enough to cover your funeral costs... maybe. Workplace bullying? If the bully and the boss are drinking buddies. The bully gets promoted!

    Advice to Management

    Wake up.

I worked at Travelodge (US) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work, a lot of time to take online classes or do homework.

    Cons

Low pay. No raises after more than 2 years. No benefits. Management (Owners) were rude to both staff and customers. Boring.

    Advice to Management

Make the effort to get to know your employees and customers instead of acting stuck-up and rude foreigners that are noticeably stereotyping and only tolerating Americans.

I have been working at Travelodge (US) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have great co-workers and my managers are the best.... I make great wages for being a 2star motel with many perks and incentives. There is definitely opportunity for advancement in the hospitality industry with extensive training available through Wyndhams.

    Cons

No health insurance and front desk employees are required to do all the laundry.

    Advice to Management

Hire a weekend laundry aide. It is just too overwhelming assisting guests with reservations, check in's and general information they may inquire about and trying to keep up with all the laundry.
