I worked at Treasury Wine Estates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great brands, met some great people

    Cons

wow where to begin? Unrealistic goals, bonus is a moving target that will never be paid even if achieved, they blindsided entire sales staff with mass layoff even in states that were doing well. Too much turnover of upper management leading to inconsistent direction.

I worked at Treasury Wine Estates full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Historic Wineries and Properties. If it was a normal work load pay would have been fair.

    Cons

Where to begin, work load of 2 people and every fiscal start promised more help would be hired only to be kicked to the curb during a pandemic.

I worked at Treasury Wine Estates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great brands, usually hire great people

    Cons

Owned by investors so lack of culture and constant change of leadership. Very focused on EBITs (which directly affects your bonus) and when numbers aren't hit they do company wide layoffs, which does not help with job security or faith in your company.

I have been working at Treasury Wine Estates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great discounts on wine! Beautiful office views in downtown Oakland. Napa office is pretty pleasant as well. The people working in the wineries (enologists, winemakers, vineyard, and cellar employees) are much more pleasant and enjoyable to interact with than the people at the Napa/Oakland corporate offices

    Cons

There is a lot of politics, history, turnover, etc that is palpable in the daily workings. Too many “directors” and “managers”. I think a lot of these people would be better served at an analyst level. Some people are incredibly unhelpful, and might I say, one manager in Supply corporate business called the guys working in the wineries- “cellar rats.” It’s a bullying culture that breeds on “how long have you been here?” Or “how long have you worked in this industry?” People want to move much faster without considering the potential of an exponential growth curve for a new employee over time. In the beginning, it will inevitably be an adjustment , and there is not enough kindness or respect from management. It is a stressful place to work.

    The Best Wine Making Teams!!

    Cons

NO COMPANY VISION OR LEADERSHIP. Priorities are always changing, bonus structure is a joke and not communicated in a timely fashion. They do not inspire or respect employees, absoulutely no commitment to people. You are expendable.
