I worked at Treasury Wine Estates full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

The brands are excellent, especially the Napa wineries. The winemakers and vineyard personnel are also wonderful.

      Cons

Where should I start!? Disorganized to say the least. Inability to stick with a plan for longer than 6 months. Lies that people are their best interest. After a 2018 which showed profit, profit for 5 years running, CEO Mike Clarke was announced to have made $18million and then proceeded to lay off 20% of the US work force - great message to your employees! Yay Capitalism and Corporate! In the almost 3 years I worked...

I worked at Treasury Wine Estates

        Pros

        Wine discounts and health coverage

        Cons

Management is abhorrent. Re-orgs up to 5 times per year. Layoffs of US staff only to be replaced by AU citizens/TWE employees. Currently in the process of outsourcing up to 40% of the workforce to a 3rd party company in India and management is completely unsupportive of staff willing to remain until March/April handover to collect the “generous 2 week severence packages” for those who choose to stick it out until the...

        Pros

        Smart and dedicated workforce.

        Cons

Poor executive management. Poor decisions lead to mass lay offs. In the US they have laid off hundreds of people in the last 6 months. They opened the Oakland office and could not fill it. So they are operating with two expensive office spaces that or under 50% capacity. Poor senior executive decisions lead to mass firings. They are eliminating jobs in the US and moving jobs to India. The CEO sold 100,000 shares...
