They pay decently. That’s about it.

Cons

No real infrastructure, no parts, no organization, and no SOPs. They do not train whatsoever despite the lack of resources to get the job done. They lead their lab by appealing to one senior tech’s desires, which doesn’t promote teamwork. The leadership is all around weak. They fired me shortly after I was hired because I had an “unscheduled” stay in the hospital for a week. Because apparently we as humans are capable of scheduling our illnesses. I am now unemployed and trying to provide for my two children while I recover. I had multiple offers, and this place wasted my time and opportunities I could’ve taken. Avoid Alpharetta, they are stale and disconnected.

Feels like a pyramid scheme. Trescal model seems to be, acquire small labs aggressively, run all the talent out of the door and scrape as much money as they can out of as little as possible. Complete lack of unified vision or policy, management completely disconnected from the day to day operations, and a general lack of knowledge of the field they're in. I've been in Metrology for 10 years, I've met and worked with lots of talented people, and none of the people Trescal has in place running things is anywhere close to where they should be. Beware if your lab is snatched up by these people, they will run it in to the ground.

I have worked here for 5 years thinking things would get better and they have not. When we were bought by Trescal we were told things would not change and we could operate how we wanted. Fast forward 4 years later and they are forcing their system onto us and it has slowed us to a complete stop. Then they ask why has our productivity screeched to a halt? Even though our productivity slowed at the very moment they implemented the new system. Their system does not work with how we operate and I have not been more stressed as an employee in my life. The upper management keeps blaming the workers when we have been telling them what the issue is. I cannot recommend this job until huge changes are made.

Most dysfunctional, arrogant management I have ever met. Look what you have done to this well ran organization, ran it into the ground within months. I hope you lack of due diligence cost you. You could have listened to the employees whom were trying to educate you, but belittling is more your style.

Pros

I am relatively new to the company, but so far have had nothing but positive interactions with the employees here. Everyone is so helpful and ready to assist when needed. Have not been here long enough to make a full evaluation but will update down the road.

A bit slow to get IT issues resolved, but recent cyber issues are likely to blame for the delays.

They really do have a great over all vision of the way they want the company to operate and push through.
