    Business Outlook

    Pros

-When the business is doing well generally things are pretty great for the workers -Good Bonus program -Decent managers depending on the team you work with

    Cons

-Constant "pendulum" swings in how things operate (being backordered to now being caught up); the systems and processes they have in place aren't capable of having a smooth supply chain and thus creates a constant chaos in terms of work and the amount of work you'll do -While you'll have a chance to have an instant impact, a lot of work only gets a "pat on the back" or a "thanks" from management, but it won't help you out in terms of career progression. Your work doesn't speak for itself here. -Constantly have to make sure "the optics" look good to management and others while working (no headphones in while at your desk is an example) -The databases and ERP's they have are very outdated and most workers have low amounts of confidence in the data coming from them -Expectation is you're in the office 5 days a week where most other departments at Trex allow a "Hybrid" work from home situation.

    Pros

Pay is marginally good compared to others in the area

    Cons

-Furloughed employees before the beginning of the third quarter in order to avoid reporting at shareholders meeting. -fired employees who were furloughed in the start of the third quarter. -Management on a plant and corporate level continues to fail its employees by over producing until there is no work to be done and claim its consumer demand. -Puts all accountability on lowest workers and none on senior leadership. -Claims to put safety first, however there is no enforcement of this policy on their production floor and often times production>safety -On its way to more serious work related injuries if management doesn’t step in and hold leaders accountable. This is all from previous experience at the plant in Winchester, Virginia, USA
