    I have been working at TriStarr Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I was able to experience a range of office environments, work types , and management styles that I will use in the future to assess where I want to work. I also gained a lot of experience at the entry-level. With each assignment, I have gained solid work references and connections

    Cons

    There was a bit of a gap between work assignments and I did not experience any sort of vertical movement, even though my pay did increase with my time.

    Advice to Management

    I would like to see more people rise to different levels in their careers. To help with this, it might help to provide educational opportunities as well as a network of trusted companies/employers that look to tristarr for quality services.

    I worked at TriStarr Staffing full-time

    Pros

    This is a good place for early career recruiters to gain experience. If you're self-motivated, articulate and quick to learn, this environment is more nurturing and employee-focused than most staffing firms, who only worry about the numbers. Good reputation in the industry.

    Cons

    This environment is not suited for senior recruiters who want to continue to grow professionally and financially, due to the size of the company and insular management team.

    I worked at TriStarr Staffing part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    None that I can think of

    Cons

    Judgmental attitude especially in the initial interview
    Very few actual jobs
    had extremely high expectations for very few jobs
    and the jobs weren't even high quality or high paying

    Advice to Management

    it's unfortunate when people are judgmental, dismissive, or rude and discriminatory

    Pros

    Great people to work with and a great way to work on both sides of the house with both clients and potential employees. I started as a temporary employee, worked my way up internally, and then moved away. Upon moving back to the area I sought out a position back at TriStarr because of the great atmosphere and opportunities.

    Cons

    Haven't had any negative experiences

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

    I worked at TriStarr Staffing as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    Some of the staffing specialists are friendly and decent but other employees and management are conniving, judgmental and cliquey.

    Cons

    The organization lacks diversity. If you want to stick around, you need to be a white Christian. All others will be nudged out. The management is not compliant with HR practices and, in general, does not care about its employees. They are extremely money-hungry and will do anything for a buck. There is very little to no transparency within the organization and employees are not awarded by merit, rather by their ability to chit-chat and suck up to management. One of the services the organization provides is third-party staffing services and, if you want a job working for a degrading wage, be prepared to be scrutinized and dehumanized to get it. I have overheard many disgusting comments about clients including harsh criticisms of appearance, a man's name being changed to sound white because he was of Asian decent, and others.

    Advice to Management

    You have the power to demand and ensure respect for American workers through leading by example and making sue that your clients are compliant with ethical and lawful human resource practices, yet the environment that you have created within your own walls is the opposite. Your employees are unhappy but too afraid to speak up. The experience at your company made me lose faith in humanity. Take a look in the mirror and make a change before it's too late.

    Pros

    * Friendly people
    * Relaxed environment
    * They don't micromanage
    * Very organized. Weekly meetings.
    * Very nice office. We each have our own desk, computer, and whatever supplies we request.

    Cons

    * Not much room for advancement.
    * On the computer the entire time.
    * You have to be willing to hear "no" a lot. This is a staffing agency; not everyone wants to talk to a recruiter.

    Advice to Management

    I believe you all do a fantastic job! Each one of you are very friendly, incredibly helpful, very supportive, and encouraging. Definitely the best leadership team I've worked for. I wouldn't change a thing.
