I have been working at Tribal Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have flexible hours, able to work from home, great new facilities and I work with wonderful people. Working at Tribal gives me the work life balance I require.

    Cons

We have recently been through a lot of change which was disruptive and caused a sense of uncertainty but Tribal have ridden the storm and now we can all work together to get things done more efficiently and effectively .

    Advice to Management

Always remember to invest in your people.

I have been working at Tribal Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A strong business with a great customer base, an excellent product strategy and clear market focus.
Tribal has a great heritage but lost it's way in recent years. The new management has a clear direction and seem to be delivering with some innovative acquisitions and developments.

    Cons

Driving change isn't easy and there are pockets of discontent still around the organisation. Leadership needs to ripple down the organisation to help everybody feels engaged.

    Advice to Management

Keep focused, execute on the strategy and develop leadership through the business

I have been working at Tribal Group full-time

    Pros

There is opportunity to develop and progress both within department and into different parts of the business. I have been able to develop during my time here and I feel supported by management. I am able to work flexibly when necessary- which is really valuable.

    Cons

The company seems to change frequently- which is fine but it can be difficult to keep track of the changes so I think communication could be better.

I have been working at Tribal Group full-time

    Pros

The people who work here make it a great place to be.
I have great relationships with my manager and team.
I get plenty of flexibility, autonomy and support in my role.
I have had good career development having progressed through several roles.
There is plenty of change but that provides plenty of challenge and development that keeps things interesting.

    Cons

There are ups and downs as in any job.
Sometimes it can be hard to make things happen when people from different parts of the business don't talk to each other.
There can be an over reliance on emails when often picking up the phone would be quicker and easier.

I have been working at Tribal Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have enjoyed great personal and professional growth whilst at Tribal.
Flexible working is encouraged wherever possible.
Increasing internationalisation of the business has given the chance to travel overseas and gain exposure to the challenges of global companies.

    Cons

The business has experienced lots of change, which has all been for the better, but sometimes sets other business improvement plans and projects back.
Career development is not very structured, many people get promoted and there are opportunities if you want them but don't expect it to be given to you on a plate - it requires a certain amount of proactivity and tenacity.
