    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Tribune Media (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Company rewards team players, even if they are bad at what they do.

    Cons

Management routinely makes really shady and illogical hiring decisions, doesn't value or maximize employees' existing strengths and unique skillsets and prefers to promote based on personality rather than experience.

    Advice to Management

Announce all job openings and take applications from within departments. This would make for happy, productive, trusting employees.

    Pros

make you own hours, get a laptop to use, free sporting event tickets, younger employees,

    Cons

Lay offs and constantly changing compensation plan, all advertising dollars are going to the internet, pay for parking, wear a tie everyday, make a sale and then your goal goes up, no products work, new managment every quarter, they do not work with the union, no training at all, take your clients or sales away whenever they want to.

    Advice to Management

That company is a sinking ship
