I have been working at Trillium Software full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great work atmosphere. The people are wonderful and everyone is very helpful. The software is very good and does what is advertised.

    Cons

Upward mobility from a salary or job role/title is limited. The benefits are very expensive. Need some good long term direction to really grow the company to the next level.

    Advice to Management

Trillium Software needs to innovate and not do things to just catch up to the market. Something in the area of data governance, data security, etc. would be a good play.

I worked at Trillium Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Dedicated staff with years of knowledge. Good position within space with potential for growth.

    Cons

Parent company announced the sale of Trillium, which places the organization in an uncertain future. A lack of CEO means the management team are focused on the sale and letting the details slip in the organization. Lack of technical staff hampering efforts to support older products.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget the people who work for you.

    Pros

Trillium has a great product and a great set of foundational workers. There is untapped potential in the data quality space that Trillium is poised well to exploit.

    Cons

Harte Hanks has publicly stated they are looking to sell Trillium. This is a good thing for Trillium, as Harte Hanks has had tremendous upheaval over the past 3 years which they are still recovering from.

    Advice to Management

Leverage the strong employee knowledge, stellar customer base and industry trends to keep data quality a successful niche for your future owners.

I have been working at Trillium Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are a lot of people who stay at Trillium for years and that lends it a nice-family feel. The new office space is very modern and there are some truly great people that work there.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the parent company has been spiraling downwards for years and Trillium is tied to it, so the company's future is uncertain.

    Advice to Management

The turn over at the senior level has been jarring to morale. It would be nice to get some stability back. I also think there is a pay scale problem... people who actually DO the work seem to be consistently under paid while those in "leadership" roles are paid far more than they're worth. There is one senior level member who literally walks around aimlessly all day and gets paid handsomely for it.

I worked at Trillium Software (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent Pay (as a contractor, not sure about permanent roles)

    Cons

What a mess this place was. People were extremely defensive which made the work environment tense and cliquey

I luckily ended my contract before the downsize. There was plenty of open space where I was in the Billerica office but was informed that the new location was quite crowded.

Nobody fully knows what they are doing and it was tough to get full cooperation (mostly in the marketing department)

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. If you keep focusing on specific employees, know that the ones you dont acknowledge are a big piece of the puzzle

Also, you may want to refer to contract workers as contractors, not "temps" the way it was articulated was very condescending

I worked at Trillium Software full-time

    Pros

It gave me the opportunity to believe that there are better employers elsewhere.

    Cons

I encountered a great deal of Anti-Semitism in the office. They fired me one week shy of being vested in the pension.

    Advice to Management

I hope you rot in hell because you are the scum of the earth.
