I have been working at Trimont Real Estate Advisors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

More female employees, nice people, training encouraged, big bonuses, beautiful office, great location.

    Cons

Work is repetitive, high volume. Most jobs are on
    the operational/administrative side.

    Advice to Management

Managers seemed over worked, not enough time to manage/train. Work needs to be balanced better between teams. Otherwise keep up great work.

I worked at Trimont Real Estate Advisors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice people around, they have happy hours in the office for which you never have time to attend. PTO 18 days a year.

    Cons

Work/life balance? forget about it. Expect that you have only work in your life. Prepare to stay in the office some days till 9pm or even later. No software used for financial reporting, everything is on Excel spreadsheets. No proper training provided, just go with the flow type of training. Turnover rate is high.

    Advice to Management

Normalize work hours, hire enough people, so people don't have to stay very late. Many employees are leaving company because people are just exhausted with amount of work. Please find better rates for healthcare plans. Obtain software to do financial reporting and etc.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Trimont Real Estate Advisors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smart and talented associates, hard working and dedicated

    Cons

Leadership has little to be desired. Only focused on their own needs, and not all associates.

    Advice to Management

Stop covering up for those that are not doing their job. Admit when you are defeated and move on with new talent.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Trimont Real Estate Advisors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits. People are for the most part good people, dedicated to providing quality service.

    Cons

New leadership is arrogant and not in touch with the real business. Disappointed at the lack of understanding of our business. Company is becoming a pack of the CEO's buddies, and not the quality, experienced employees we used to have. So glad I left.

    Advice to Management

Take time to learn the business, don't recreate what is not broken. The clients we have are based on years of relationships and delivering service that far exceeds the competition. And stop hiring your buddies that have no experience.

I have been working at Trimont Real Estate Advisors as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a beautiful office located in Buckhead. Free coffee and sodas. Some friendly people. People speak very highly of the Company.

    Cons

My challenge at TriMont was training was not accurate at times lack of communications. Busy the first two weeks of the month other times not much to do. Not very structure environment sometime very confusing . Too laid back for my taste. I prefer to stay busy it makes the day go by faster.

    Advice to Management

Look at whom you have training . I would suggestion someone who is not all over the place. Very confusing to train with someone who doesn't communicate well.

I have been working at Trimont Real Estate Advisors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The salaries are good but not great (former colleagues have received good-sized raises at new jobs) and the benefits are pretty good. The environment is family-friendly and most of the employees are nice folks. All in all, the culture is okay.

    Cons

Trimont Real Estate Advisors is a good company but could be a great company with more proactive executive leadership.

    Advice to Management

The company succeeds in spite of the lack of direction or communication from its principals because the company is full of very smart real estate professionals. The company leadership seems unaware of, or doesn't care about, the deep talent it has on its bench and seems content to let mid and upper level employees seek better opportunities elsewhere rather than nurturing and harnessing that talent in-house to pursue or develop new opportunities that would benefit the company.
