I have been working at Trinitas Regional Medical Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This was my first hospital job. I don’t hate but it’s hard work because they are under staff a lot of people quite nurses and techs. So you are mostly by yourself. People you work with are nice some are helpful. Bottom line, low pay, good experience, a stepping stone, little bit more of a leeway then other facilities, your are overworked, and it gets frustrating.
A lot of OT if you ask

    Cons

    Low Pay,
too much work for one person
    Managers are not the nicest
    Always under staff

    Advice to Management

Appreciate The nurses and nurse assistant that works there. Some do make and effort even if it’s not worth their pay thank them for their hard work.

I have been working at Trinitas Regional Medical Center full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You will get a varied experience, coworkers are good, you will get connections in so many other health systems in the future when your coworkers leave

    Cons

Constantly understaffed and overworked, Management does not follow up and correct issues they say they are "working on" for years, underpaid, no motivation for advanced degrees/certifications/specializations, constantly rotating door of employees so you can not depend on anyone in the long run

    Advice to Management

Fix the problems we ask you to fix. Staff appropriately.

    Pros

Great place to work. Management cares. They want to hear the good and the bad. No micro-managing here.

    Cons

Benefits could be better. Punitive paid time off if you have minor health issues and need to take off.
