I have been working at Trinitas Regional Medical Center full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Family like environment. I am treated like fmaily not just an employee that earns a paycheck. Understand community. It did not take long for me to feel welcomed, when I first started. Close commute to home. Great balance when it comes to work/life.

    Cons

Improvements in security. Security not too “tight”. Not a bad neighborhood, but also not the greatest. Need to inprove on compensation. Peers within my profession with less experience are compensated a lot higher

I worked at Trinitas Regional Medical Center part-time

    Pros

    Quick job response on indeed

    Cons

This was my second attempt with this employer. The first time they hired another candidate then a month later call me back to offer me the position I took it for a great side job and to have a hospital on my resume, but i already work fulltime at another employee. After accepting the position I asked the length of the orientation and training so i can take off from my other employer. I was informed that orientation was one day and i can discuss my schedule with a nurse to complete training. After taking off work for orientation i find out it is mandatory training for the rest of the week and if i don't complete it i won't be able to work with trinitas again. I felt like i got slapped in the face i take off work where i get paid weekly to do all of this just to not get the job. Not only that I ended up with pink eye from their facility the next morning so i wouldn't have been able to complete to training anyway. And missed a week of work. So disappointed

    Advice to Management

Better explain the hire process and get a recruiter that jas better listening skills instaed of rushing to get rid of a person.

I have been working at Trinitas Regional Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people. Wonderful learning experiences. CEO is a good communicator. Behavioral health has so many programs.

    Cons

Benefits (health + time off) could be better. But health insurance isn't really their fault. Salaries for entry level social workers are pitiful.

    Advice to Management

Stay independent as long as possible.
