I worked at Trinity College Dublin as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a fantastic experience, conducting tutorial for students in Trinity. The students were engaged with the subject and the module was well organised. It is in a great location also.

    Cons

Unfortunately, there were limited hours available given the nature of the program and the module. There were also some tight deadlines to meet at the end of the college year.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what is being done. Continue to develop the curriculum of the modules to include relevant examples from the real world.

    Pros

Flexible hours, made to fit around your college timetable, interesting work

The 4 hour shift block is great during the college term but during the summer having to go in for just a 4 hour shift can be a pain

I worked at Trinity College Dublin as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The working hours are loose. You are working academic hours so if you work best from 10 to 6 then those are your working hours. The project that was given to us was really interesting and provided us with great experience. The staff are really nice and they provide you with all the resources to achieve your goal.

    Cons

The pay was poor, just €1300 a month, but considering this is a university and that you are working the hours you want, it's really not that bad.
