I have been working at Trinity Consultants full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Challenging work, lots of responsibility given early on. Minimal egos, very supportive and collaborative. Large variety of projects. Good career growth guidance and training. Smart people, but still very team oriented.

    Cons

Consulting is tough. Long hours once in a while.

    Advice to Management

Proactively show appreciation to high achievers. Career planning program is very good and well-developed. Managers should spend more quality time with employees on this.

I have been working at Trinity Consultants full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Comparable benefits for consultants as company employees at the site I work at. Great co-workers - great comraderie. Very interesting work and learning a lot of new things.

    Cons

As a consultant (contractor) there is some of the us vs. them attitude (compared to company employees). Workload can lead to long hours but only getting paid for standard 8 hours/day.

I have been working at Trinity Consultants full-time

    Pros

Lots to learn.. fast paced, and generally friendly atmosphere among peers. it is true that experience gained in a year at Trinity is worth three times the experience gained at a competitor, during the same amount of time.

    Cons

Occasional uncertainty in schedules, long hours from time to time based on client needs, different supervisors have different approaches on how tasks should be done. PTO (goes without saying) is an issue.

    Advice to Management

Require better differentials in evaluations/ expectations for larger offices vs smaller offices. More frequent reviews for senior management, especially in cases where the supervisor is at a different location.

I worked at Trinity Consultants full-time

    Pros

Co-workers are intelligent and helpful; Good place to start your career if you are willing to dedicate 45+ hrs per week; Competitive pay for new graduates

    Cons

Personally, there were more cons than pros. The overall office atmosphere and attitude was too serious. It is one thing to work hard and produce quality products, but its another thing to overwork yourself and not get appreciation from your supervisor or manager for the time you dedicated to a project. Upper management, especially supervisors and new managers, did not seem to be experienced in managing projects... effectively, and under my manager, project deadlines were never met satisfactorily. There also seems to be a lack of comfort regarding communication between co-workers.There was also no work/life balance, as you are required to work long hours, and as a consultant (G56) you get very little PTO. Definitely ask questions about what is expected out of you if you are hired, and get informed on what day-to-day life is like in a Trinity office. I believe there are better opportunities out there for new graduates where your manager or supervisor act as mentors and guides, rather than Big Brother.

    Advice to Management

Please remember that G-56s are not slaves or machines as described in another review below, because that is truly how G-56s are treated at Trinity. Also, Office Managers need to stay more in-tune about how Managing Consultants are supervising. Just because someone is a Managing Consultant or Supervisor does not mean that they are effective leaders.
