I worked at Trinity Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There is nothing good about this place I’ve worked here for three years please stay away if you care about your health.

    Cons

Three employees terrible and they have terrible rules on attendance they would rather have you come in throwing up with the flu then call out sick. You can’t trust your upper management, they turn your words around and lie.

    Advice to Management

    Retire or quite

I worked at Trinity Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Trinity Health has a strong mission and well-defined purpose. The values are well thought out by the founding sisters, and ministries recently acquired. I respect the new CEO and COO who are attempting to make a difference to ensure the company’s sustainability. Enjoyed working with a dynamic team, but unfortunately the most talented do not stay due to reckless politics practiced by long-term leaders.

    Cons

While there were many downsides, there is one word that rings true if one should decide to work for Trinity Health – Beware. Middle management, upper management, and senior leaders use words like “plausible deniability.”. Because of this, there is little tribal knowledge or accountability. This mindset has stunted operational growth, and in some areas, this organization operates in the dark ages.

    Advice to Management

I appreciate and respect the CEO and COO. They have a no-nonsense approach to business and have been brought in to keep Trinity Health from cannibalizing themselves, and the precious mission that has been handed down for generations. These two leaders are on the right track and will “weed out” those who are incapable of being honest, trustworthy and effective business leaders.

I worked at Trinity Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Free cupcakes every two months.

    Cons

The Trinity Service Desk is a fraud. The management there will conduct illegal activities such as use your own personal social media information to use it against you if one of the seniors or upper management do not like you. They are discriminatory and will not hire Spanish people if they find out you are of Latin descent. They will not let you advance if they do not like you even if you have the skills. If you... make a complaint HR will fire you and make you claim workers compensation. The work environment is making people sick and if you even mention it you are gone. They have people there who they sit you next to to dig into your personal life by asking questions in a slick manor and indirectly. There are no free lunches the person above who said that is a lie. They charge you a donation fee for tea and coffee. Nothing is free. You might get a free cupcake once in a while and that's it. You also might get lucky enough to get the left overs from different departments such as identity access. You will be harassed if they do not like you and they will overwork you for you to quit if they don't want you to get mad and know the truth behind their meanings. If you don't believe me take the job and see for yourself. They micro manage you, but the Managers only send the Seniors to do it and then Management plays the good cop role. Be careful too, because Management will send Seniors to push your buttons if they don't like you, so you threaten them and get fired.

    Advice to Management

Stop breaking laws and committed misdemeanor crimes. You will be caught and your time is coming. Also stop firing your employees for making complaints and tricking them into filing a workers comp claim after they made a complaint for you to fire them.

I have been working at Trinity Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Co-workers are great people. We do the best we can for the patients with what we are given to work with.

    Cons

Upper management is terrible, they are always in meetings and get nothing accomplished. Many Many suggestions are made from staff and they are not ever addressed. They only purchase cheap software and to chart on one patient you may have to log out and sign into 4 or 5 different reporting platforms. Nothing interfaces !

    Advice to Management

Cut down on meetings and actually spend time with staff to see how your decisions affect and hinder daily flow and function of the staff

I have been working at Trinity Health full-time

    Pros

    Work Hours, café, some employees

    Cons

Very negative, no room for advance unless friends with upper management. Employees are burnt out, pay is minimal, management and human resources are incompetent. I do not recommend this company to work for,

    Advice to Management

Stop micro managing your employees. And stop organizing teams based on who know when doing internal hires.

I have been working at Trinity Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

On a site level there can be excellent company culture and management. Departments have their own personalities, if it fits, it's great.

    Cons

Upper management makes site managers responsible for their lack of accountability, untrustworthiness, and overall micro managing. "Lean" initiatives spend too much in the wrong places and cut things we actually need. No one listens or cares but they make every effort to appear like they do. It's all surface level. Upper management's attempts to "be nice" are all bold face lying and blame shifting. Overall caring... more about how THEY look than anything else. Blaming ground employees for their own inaction. They make a huge deal about customer reviews but then do nothing with them. No merits are given if you get excellent reviews, no PIP if you're given poor ones. No reason to work harder than you absolutely have to unless you really enjoy your staff.

    Advice to Management

There's nothing to say to them, they think they're blameless.
