I have been working at Trinity Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The diversified portfolio of products shows the longevity of this company. People are very friendly and has the old school professional business environment where everyone says hello to each other in the hall. You can tell employees genuinely like working with together – there are celebrations for birthdays, births, and pictures of "inside jokes" on cubes and offices.

The Dallas headquarter location is great too - just north of downtown with easy access to uptown, downtown, and a short ride to Addison.

    Cons

The pace internally can feel a little slow at times, but it's because there is such a focus on quality and setting up measurements for success. That's really not a con but can feel a little frustrating at times if you are use to a different pace.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for keeping employees informed. Good internal communications with updates on changes in the org or community service events.

    Cons

Enjoy my job heat is extreme in summer though need extra tools and parts when there is a issue.

    Advice to Management

Maybe keep and parts and tool up to date so lines would not get behind and cause line to move slow.

Very interesting industry, atmosphere is laid back. Plenty of good people, and much experience to be had. Flexible schedule. Great benefits.

    Cons

Very proper conduct is expected in office. Upward momentum is pretty hard to achieve. Most of management are 15-25 year veterans.

    Advice to Management
