    Pros

compensation and the quarterly bonus program. Interesting work and the supervision is in general very understanding of some of the harsh work that needs to be completed.

    Cons

You must work there a year before you are allowed paid time off. This makes it difficult to want to take time away from work for family.

    Pros

Good pay. Bonus and vacation pay. Good overall team to work with. Great team leaders and good safety team. I'd advise anyone looking for great pay and a good team to work with

    Cons

Well if you are a family person it may not be a good fit for you due to the fact that trinity works alot of hours. Ranging from 60 to 76 hours a week.

    Advice to Management

Not really advice but more like a complaint. Keep up the good job on how you treat your employees and business will continue to strive.

I have been working at Trinity Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Just about everyone has good intentions. The company is willing to invest in you. There are many projects to work on and increase technical knowledge.

    Cons

Follow through and organization between departments is lacking. Upper management spends frivolously on projects that are not bought into by the operator while equipment degrades and does not receive proper investment.

    Advice to Management

Improve cross department communication and organization.

    Pros

Long-tenured senior leadership group that cares about the company and the employees. One of the few places remaining hat offer quasi lifetime employment. Opportunities galore for those willing to seek them and go for it.

    Cons

Not always open to new ideas or new thinking. Bad news rarely gets communicated up - people focus on messaging more than to pass along critical pieces of information.

    Advice to Management

Encourage your people to tell you what they really think. They may alert you to opportunities or threats that will otherwise surprise you.
