I have been working at Triple-S Management full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits package, excellent medical insurance, 401K retirement program. Competitive Christmas bonus, a Gym, many social activities and parking for all employees.

    Cons

Nepotism prevent professional growth for the employees who actually have the experience, knowledge and skills. Management doesn't care if employees has legal issues. You could work for them for 40 years and never require criminal record, drug test or domestic violence record, besides the time of recruitment.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should create competitive salaries, and add a transparent recruiting process. It is the #1 insurance in the island (PR), but all competitors pays twice the amount of salary earned. It has the higher employee turnover rate in the industry. That is because competitor like to hire professionals that does not need expensive trainings. The management tell employees if one employee goes, there are many other with experience in insurance ready to apply for the position. What management does not understand is; if competitors pays more, then the employees been hire are the one rejected by competitors.
