    Pros

The Level III who worked there when I was with the company always had our back. Benefits were good, environment was good.

    Pros

Stable job despite it being somewhat boring products, good benefits, neat aerospace customers, good pay for the area. Yakima Washington

    Cons

Leadership has all been there for decades and simple all want to go back to the way things were years ago. Very antiquated design and manufacturing tools. Company has been sold many times, little desire to improve and thrive.

    Advice to Management

You really need to change out old leadership. Way too many closed door politics happening. Fire some of the really poor employees to show your staff you care enough to have a standard of employee. The dead wood simply drags everyone down.

I have been working at Triumph Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Knowledgeable, Capable workforce collectively exposed to a wide variety of manufacturing / assembly processes. It is an impressive facility that is capable in all aspects of gear/ gearbox production with exception of casting capabilities which it outsources.

    Cons

Advancement decisions are perfunctory, with most positions posted briefly once they know who they want to fill the position.

I have been working at Triumph Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Hires new graduates almost exclusively, great way for inexperienced engineers to gain experience.

    Cons

Corporate restructuring in the past year has taken a lot of control from the local factory making formerly simple business decisions painstakingly slow and disjointed. Lack of room for growth after 8 years, promotions and raises are almost impossible.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees, empower them to make business decisions, trust them to manage their own workload.

I worked at Triumph Group full-time

    Pros

    Work/life balance. Good time-off policy.

    Cons

Standard to zero increases. Company is losing money but top leadership still spends. Leadership will not change mindset and continue to do the same things, digging the Company further into the ground. Lots of ego that is more focused self with little to no focus on the Company and its future. Greed to the max.

    Advice to Management

The Company could be so much better if it would shake the "good ole boys" culture. You have some very bright people working for you. Considering what worked in the past is no longer working, how about listening to some new ideas.
