I have been working at Triumph Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Cushy job if you don't care what you do on daily basis , eg vent into engineering just for a job, not because want to achieve something

    Cons

Very poor project management, high staff rotation, unclear salary structure, time spent warming the seat is more valued than effort put in.

I have been working at Triumph Motorcycles full-time

    Pros

Some managers are nice to work for, plenty of overtime in most roles if you want it.

    Cons

Very old fashioned, heating and cooling of workplace isn't good no matter where you work in any office, slow to implement changes, pay is poor for how hard they expect you to work. Some managers are simply dicks and there's not much you can do. Project time plans are simply ridiculous, career progression depends on time served and your manager more than anything, and you seem to need to fit a mould if you want to progress past a point.

I worked at Triumph Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some good responsibility given to engineers from an early stage. Fast pace environment. Good spread of knowledge within the business. Student loan repayment scheme for service to the company.

    Cons

Unwillingness to put people on training. Engineering Team Leaders have poor management skills. Difference in the way the powertrain and chassis teams are run leads to a lot of disgruntled and unhappy powertrain engineers. Desperatly needs to reqork the company structure and put managers with good people skills in charge rather than engineers.

I have been working at Triumph Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Varied challenging employment, central location. Decent benefits. Pay seems to be okay. I would reccomend Triumph to anyone interested in motorcycles.

    Cons

Hinckley is not the best location. Small boring town. Opportunities for progression seem limited compared to bigger companies.
