    Pros

Nothing was a pro to me

    Cons

Hardly any training and you get sent out to knock on people's doora without the proper tools or understanding of the job and scheduling was not what it was said it would be and the pay sounds good until you realize you work over 50 hours monday thru Saturday and no overtime

    Advice to Management

    Better training less days worked

I worked at TruGreen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Get to work outside during the summer

    Cons

Having to drive your personal vehicle, odd hours and 6 days a week from mid March until September. Very little training on product, and lawn issues. This is a door to door sales job, if you like knocking on strangers doors trying to sell them lawn care in June and July, this is the job for you.

    Advice to Management

Only if you can stick it out for multiple years.

    Pros

there's room for advancement, but you have to be proactive in order to get raises, or chances to move up in the company. If you don't say something about wanting a raise, a better position within the company, or making sure to get the proper endorsements on your license, don't expect to get much out of management. Pretty similar to any other job, really. You get out of it what you put into it. Making it clear that you want to improve your position is the only way to get ahead here.

    Cons

management isn't concerned with their employees wellbeing, and the customers? they're no longer people to management. Only accounts. All they care about is getting as many applications done in a day, no matter what the quality of those treatments might have been. The company will set up free service calls no matter what, so the tech that did the original application, very seldom is the one that has to clean up the mess. Not to mention the dealing with the angry customers.

    Advice to Management

stop bending over backwards to please the uppers, at the expense of your employees, and the customers. if not for the people we service, none of us would have jobs. Stop thinking of those customers as accounts, and start thinking about them in terms of people.

    Pros

    Cons

Intense pressure to bring in sales, out dated computer system, Application guys that do the work are over worked and sometime don't do the best job. It's all about the $$$, not about quality of life.

I worked at TruGreen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None that I could think of? Tried really hard to find some pros and after lies and 6 weeks of bs I wasn't successful. Thus, I quit. ..

    Cons

Too many to list but here's a few. Calling the same pissed off so called prospects over and over again. Beating on the same pissed off people in the same neighborhoods over and over...same results. Threats of law suits, calling cops for solicitation in neighborhoods that were posted, etc. Run Forest run...or whatever your name may be considering this joke of a job.

    Advice to Management

Hire some...for starters! They even don't know who they're hiring or firing and they dang sure don't understand sales and sales force alignment. They would have to ask Google what the word strategy means. Won't be in business much longer...pathetic!
