I worked at True Games Interactive full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

We had a great team that was passionate about the product we were working on. Easy to communicate with others and little management overhead to stop us from adding fun to the game.

    Cons

Not a large enough marketing budget eventually killed the game post launch. A stronger brand IP would also have helped in attracting casual and hardcore users a like.

    Advice to Management

Don't spend little on marketing when you have a great product, instead drive more marketing into target areas of the market where they get the most impact. The lack of Facebook ads for our game was a huge mistake.

If you hire someone based on their experience, listen to them when they tell you there is a problem.
