Pros
-Un capped pay potential -Leadership opportunities -growth opportunities
Cons
-Growth and leadership is a big focus of this job so if you want something easy And short term, might not be the best.
Thank you for the feedback!

Pros
The people, and honestly that's about it.
Cons
They talked about it not being a "cold calling" type of business when it absolutely is in the worst way. They do not tell you it is kiosk sales until your first day in the field. I remember asking specifically in my interview if we would have leads as salespeople. The answer to that question was a yes, but only because management counts shoppers as your leads. Be wary if you do not like shoving cell phones down people's throats. If you have a bad week, they will cut your hours to the point of you not having enough money to survive. Horrible motivation tactics. That is not how you develop a winning culture. The one thing that caught my eye was the "ability to be your own market manager in 3-6 months" That only happens if people they hire under you stay, and the company's turnover rate is extremely high, due to the aforementioned thought. (Kiosk Sales) They hold this over your head, saying how easy it is to build a team when in reality, it is not the case. Also, the company changed its name from True North to Highline, as you cannot leave reviews for Highline here.

Getting better is the best option
Nov 8, 2021 - Assistant Manager in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great supportive staff and management. Really got me prepared to start my own business and really thankful for the lessons I learned before it was my turn to take a leap into entrepreneurship!
Cons
While I was there alot of people would come in entry level and be super skeptical about what the job was based on first impressions and being very negative. It's a sales and marketing job with management training. If you go into it wanting to make money and grow you'll find it. Looking for a 9-5 clock in/clock out staffing job? This is not it.

By far the best place I've worked!
Nov 8, 2021 - Administrative in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This has been one of my favorite companies to work for thus far! The office culture is both fun and professional! The company focuses on both professional and personal growth. Management has always been good and flexible about needing days off, because of that and how supportive everyone inside of our office is towards each other has easily made it my favorite place to work!
Cons
You have to be on your feet for long periods of time while inside of stores. There aren't any benefits until you reach Market Manager. They don't reimburse money for gas.

A lot of growth to be had if you have a student mentality and willing to put in the work for it!
Cons
Long drive to the office for me but well worth it for the advancement and potential to make well above what I was making before coming on at True North!

Offered job, declined due to clear bait and switch.
Aug 6, 2021 - Store AttendantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
None. Company will blatantly lie about job roles, responsibilities, and compensation in their job postings, phone screening, and first round interview and won't tell you the truth until the second/final round interview.
Cons
Listed minimum compensation is almost double what actual offered compensation will be. The listed compensation can only be met through a large number of commissions and sales, neither of which will be mentioned as a responsibility of your role in either the job posting or initial set of interviews. Company will initially tell you you're a salaried employee (stated salary compensation a minimum of 1,150 a week) working a typical 8 hour schedule Monday through Friday, then at the final interview magically change that number to a minimum salary of 600 a week, with 8 hour days Monday through Friday in addition to a mandatory day on either every Saturday or Sunday.

A great environment where everyone pushes each other to be better and is invested in each others success. Growth and development are always encouraged and there are so many resources to achieve the things you want!
Cons
You have to be self motivated, willing to take rejection, and be a competitive person.

Pros
Supportive Environment, laid back, room to grow, good for people without a college degree
Cons
Poor COVID-19 response/practice: Team meets in a small office and does not care about social distancing or mask wearing whatsoever. People come to work sick frequently, including management. Misleading interviews and position description: They will tell you that this is a marketing job in both stages of the interview. It isn't. This is strictly in person sales. No insurance: In the interview I was promised full benefits (it is a full-time position). I later learned from co-workers that you don't receive benefits until you make Partner, which can take over a year. Pay: YOU DO NOT MAKE COMMISSION. Unless you reach base-pay cap, you will be making the exact same amount whether you make 0 or 10 sales in a week Work/Life balance: You are allowed to take breaks, but it is heavily discouraged by management. Many employees don't take lunch and end up feeling sick and tired by the end of the day. Work place environment: women are sexually harassed by customers on a daily basis with no protection. Wasted time in the office listening to podcasts. Stipend and benefits: No reimbursement or write off for transportation or phone. You will be expected to give your personal phone number to customers. You are also expected to commute all around the Denver area, sometimes as far as Boulder, with absolutely zero reimbursement for gas. The only "benefit" offered is a weekly team outing, which is literally just the adult version of a pizza party. Hours: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear that the position you applied for was not what you expected it to be. True North Marketing takes any claims of harassment very seriously and any employee who feels they have experience any degree of harassment, is told to report this to management. To address your frustration with the base pay, the reason we do base pay is to ensure that everyone gets paid weekly, regardless of commission. This way no one works 40 hours a week and walks home empty handed, we want them to be paid for their time - always. We apologize if you felt you weren't given the opportunity to take breaks, we understand that breaks are essential to employee health and the overall health of the company and require all employees to take breaks according to the law. In response to your view on our COVID - 19 response, we practice social distancing and require masks at all times in the office and are in compliance with the state mandate for social distancing. We have even split schedules to keep our employees safe and reduce the number of bodies in office at any given time.
