I have been working at Truenorth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's an ok company they expect more than they give it could be worse though. Managers are ok for the most part

    Cons

Not enough pay, can't make your own hours, management can suck if you get a bad manager, HIGH turn over rate. They don't care about your safety as well if you work overnights.

    Advice to Management

Do better and it will be better

I have been working at Truenorth full-time

    Pros

Good benefits and that's about it

    Cons

As manager your salary is based off 40 hours but you are required to work 45 and most weeks it's more like 50 to 60 hours

    Advice to Management

Pay more or help your stores get better staffed

I worked at Truenorth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Open 24 hours at most locations so all shifts are available.

    Cons

They do not let you work two jobs when you become shift lead. Even though others at the company have multiple jobs as shift managers.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire for positions that you do not have open to fill. You inconvenience peoples lives when you promote them but have no where to place them.

I worked at Truenorth full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There was always overtime provided and the staff was very friendly.

    Cons

There aren't really any cons with this company. It's a great job if you have the drive and work ethic.

    Pros

Flexible schedules, 50 cent employee refill on soda and coffee, Room to grow in the company, Great customer service experiences.

    Cons

Pay is minimum wage, Store managers are shady, Have to watch your back some co workers will stab you in the back to get promoted.

    Advice to Management

Learn that over and shorts happen all the time. Most of the time its due to system errors. Watch your video more as employees get away with things way to much.

I worked at Truenorth part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was able to get the schedule I wanted. Some of my co-workers were awesome and I enjoyed working with them. The customers were usually very nice(9 out of 10).

    Cons

There are times when you work alone and are expected to do everything, which is impossible. On Fridays I constantly had to stock the order that came in on Weds, and nothing was done about it. The manager would have an attitude due to personal issues and take it out the workers.

    Pros

If you're dependable and flexible with your schedule, hours are available

    Cons

At times overwhelming but doable, not enough pay

    Advice to Management

Covet your good workers, do your best to keep them happy: hours, preferred shifts; increase pay

I worked at Truenorth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The advantages are meeting new people, interacting with customers , meeting the right person at the right time and potentially better employers. If you are a people person and dont care about making minimum wage or close to it this is for you! You also get a raise every 3 months based on performance might be 5-13 cents but it eventually adds up I guess!

    Cons

They try to low-ball you with the pay rate. You work alone for the most part. Easy to be a victim of a robbery. Unprofessional , do not share any personal information about yourself management is not to be trusted and they do not value their employees no matter how much work and time you invest and try to help them out! If there is ever a problem and HR has to get involved they will not have your best interest at all they protect management not employees! DISCRIMINATE HEAVILY!!!

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and human beings! Be fair and make sure to compensate your employees based on the work ethic they display and how they treat your customers! HR needs to make sure they listen to employees when they report instances to them this is why there is a huge TURNOVER RATE!!!

    Pros

Meet a lot of very interesting people and customers,Provide benefits and 401 k full time hours put me at about 40 hrs a week maybe more with overtime.

    Cons

One of the cons would have to be not knowing who is going to walk in to your workplace.
