I worked at Truenorth part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was able to get the schedule I wanted. Some of my co-workers were awesome and I enjoyed working with them. The customers were usually very nice(9 out of 10).

    Cons

There are times when you work alone and are expected to do everything, which is impossible. On Fridays I constantly had to stock the order that came in on Weds, and nothing was done about it. The manager would have an attitude due to personal issues and take it out the workers.

I have been working at Truenorth part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're dependable and flexible with your schedule, hours are available

    Cons

At times overwhelming but doable, not enough pay

    Advice to Management

Covet your good workers, do your best to keep them happy: hours, preferred shifts; increase pay

I worked at Truenorth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The advantages are meeting new people, interacting with customers , meeting the right person at the right time and potentially better employers. If you are a people person and dont care about making minimum wage or close to it this is for you! You also get a raise every 3 months based on performance might be 5-13 cents but it eventually adds up I guess!

    Cons

They try to low-ball you with the pay rate. You work alone for the most part. Easy to be a victim of a robbery. Unprofessional , do not share any personal information about yourself management is not to be trusted and they do not value their employees no matter how much work and time you invest and try to help them out! If there is ever a problem and HR has to get involved they will not have your best interest at all they protect management not employees! DISCRIMINATE HEAVILY!!!

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and human beings! Be fair and make sure to compensate your employees based on the work ethic they display and how they treat your customers! HR needs to make sure they listen to employees when they report instances to them this is why there is a huge TURNOVER RATE!!!

    Pros

Meet a lot of very interesting people and customers,Provide benefits and 401 k full time hours put me at about 40 hrs a week maybe more with overtime.

    Cons

One of the cons would have to be not knowing who is going to walk in to your workplace.

    Pros

its a job...that doesn't pay enough nor give you enough hours to compensate. a single person struggles to survive off their paycheck with this company.if you've got a family, forget about it.
but if your down and out right now...it's a job and its a paycheck...

    Cons

its a low wage dead end job.its literally meant to be a stepping stone or an in-between job.there is no future with this company.full of false promises.EXTREMELY GREEDY COMPANY.DOES NOT CARE ABOUT NOR TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES.TRAINING,EQUIPMENT,SYSTEMS ALL OUT DATED OBSOLETE AND BEHIND THE CURVE.

    Advice to Management

your turnover wouldn't be so high if you actually cared about and adequately paid your employees.and i mean all the employees not just general managers and district mangers.i suggest particularly taking a long hard look at the treatment of your assistant managers.their pay, hours, responsibilities is just unbelievably pathetic.being on call 24/7/365 for 9.10/hr?thats just downright unethical.

Some employees had just got caught stealing and the management didn't trust many people after that happened.
