I worked at Trump Hotels full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay and benefits are good (if you're an hourly employee, salary employees really get the shaft)

    Cons

Extremely sexist management, very toxic environment, you are given very high standards to live up to without being provided the resources to achieve them. Lots of finger pointing and back stabbing.

I have been working at Trump Hotels full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are in the right department there are many opportunities to grow and even switch departments if you like. You also have the opportunity to work for two departments.

    Cons

The members who attend the club are usually not friendly, a lot are but most are very snobbish and treat the workers as if they were personal butlers without the respect. The pay could be better for the type of company this is and the amount of money it makes yearly.

    Advice to Management

The General manager of the resort, not Donald Trump, and the manager of golf are great! The managers of other departments they should care more about their employees.

Former Employee - Food & Beverage Operations Manager in Las Vegas, NV

I worked at Trump Hotels (More than a year)

    Pros

Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas is an absolutely beautiful property. Most of the rooms were designed to be for tenants and have full kitchens with separate access allowing for a personal chef to arrive and depart discretely.

    Cons

Due to the economic decline after 2008, the secondary tower with gaming, nightlife, restaurants, etc. was never built. The stand-alone tower is being used not for what it was designed for presenting operational challenges. Unless you're director level, salaries are low. Salaried turnover is high.
