    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at TrustPoint Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I met/worked with some great nurses and techs. Unfortunately, they have all resigned or are seeking employment elsewhere. It's very sad what has happened to this hospital.

    Cons

The CEO loves to hear himself talk which, unfortunately for him, lands him in alot of exposed lies. The CCO is a modern-day servant to the CEO. He does not have an original idea of his own. All his thoughts and opinions are given to him by the CEO and this will eventually be his demise. Employee paychecks are routinely incorrect and no effort is made to correct them until the next payday. Insurance is going up yet...

    Advice to Management

Acadia, PLEASE, step in and take over. It's not too late. The front-line employees are aware of the great things Acadia can do. Please start with either getting rid of the CEO and CCO or transfer one or the other.

I worked at TrustPoint Hospital for less than a year

Great atmosphere and fun staff to work with!

      Cons

Had to work holidays, and pay was not that great.

      Advice to Management

      Good job, keep it up!

      Neutral Outlook

      I worked at TrustPoint Hospital

      Pros

Money was better than average. Unfortunately, that doesn't really matter when you are let go so soon after taking the job...

      Cons

More work than could possibly be done in a day's time, but expectations of getting it done in 8 hours, yet would get in trouble for working overtime. Did not always have resources available to do my job. Upper management was more concerned with financials than helping their employees grow and improve. Benefits were lousy compared to other private sector workplaces. Was let go a month into the job due to financial situation...

      Advice to Management

Your company will never be what it could be if you do not invest in your people. You will continue to experience constant turnover if your expectations are unrealistic.

I have been working at TrustPoint Hospital full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Receiving better pay than I would anywhere else. My coworkers are like a second family. Opportunities to learn management skills.

      Cons

I basically feel self-managed, which may be a problem for newer people who need strong leaders. Some departments need to work together better.

      Advice to Management

Learn the job roles of your staff so that you can better understand work flow and are able to be a better leader.

      Pros

Very supportive director. Nice people to work with in a stressful environment

      Cons

Sometimes, there are to many Generals and not enough soldiers.

I have been working at TrustPoint Hospital

      Pros

The day to day staff with some exceptions to the "favored" employees.

      Cons

Just about everything else from the cleanliness to the treatment of patients. There is no cleaning staff most of the time and if they do exist I'm not sure what they do because the floors are always sticky with urine, feces and snack foods. Management states that the patients are the number one priority but they are gotten up as early as 4am and left in a small room almost the entire day with only a television for stimulation...

      Negative Outlook

I worked at TrustPoint Hospital full-time for less than a year

      Pros

The nurses and techs are what makes that "hospital" run! They care about the patients and one another!

      Cons

Upper management is horrific! They won't help out anyone but themselves. Techs and nurses get assaulted and nothing is done. They don't care about anyone, even the patients. It's all about the money.

      Advice to Management

Fire yourselves, please. Get some new management that actually has a heart for healthcare.
