Some Great, Underpaid, Underappreciated People
Apr 28, 2023 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great commitment to remote work Some of the best people and direct managers you will ever work with It varies by team, but a commitment to not predatory unlimited PTO Okay, not exceptional benefits Good work-life balance, IF you assert yourself
Cons
Sexism problem: Several key players will spend meetings talking over women and utterly disregarding their expertise and ideas, only to take the exact same concepts seriously when presented by a man. This is especially true for difficult decisions. Plenty of women and non-binary folk in the company, but unless they are directly in leadership roles or extremely assertive, they are ignored. For a team that prides itself on transparency, laying off 20% of the company with no warning via email is poor form. This was done with shockingly little planning for those who remained, placing a huge burden on them. I suspect they will be seeing a massive exodus of their best talent, and know many of the best people are currently looking elsewhere. Documentation and planning are poor. While startups always move fast, changes can feel random, poorly planned, and without direction. CEO is having issues, and it is leaking into the company You will be underpaid relative to similar roles at other companies, sometimes by 20, 30%. Significant raises outside of role changes are nearly impossible, and raises offered can be insultingly low.

TOXIC avoid at all costs

You will work with some great people not in management
Cons
By far most toxic work place I have ever worked at. Ceo is so out of touch with reality spending his time questioning internal AM’s and customer success managers about why/what they aren’t/are doing because an account doesn’t want to renew due to the dream that was sold from the very start on AE side

- Mentorship opportunities and professional development - Cross-function initiatives - Growth mindset - Hands-on Leadership at all levels - Team players make stalls on projects a thing of the past
Cons

Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate that your employee experience resulted in a 2.0 rating overall because of barriers and lack of autonomy and maturity in the sales process. We acknowledge some deficiencies in that area, and we are excited about the recent addition of a CRO to our executive team. He is currently driving process, enablement, and reporting initiatives in our GTM functions that have already made a significant impact on employee morale and business outcomes. We appreciate the recognition for our Self Care days, benefits package, and the amazing group of people we have working here. We hope that if you want to discuss your employee experience further, you will reach out to us to have an open conversation so we can continue to improve.

Transparency is a JOKE
Mar 5, 2023 - Business Development Representative (BDR) in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The occasional uber-eats gift cards were nice.
Cons
No 401K match. I am extremely displeased with a variety of things from my time here. The layoffs were a blindside since our CEO had told us only a week prior we would not be doing layoffs and I was at the top of my team numbers-wise. Overworked, underpaid, favoritism, the usual. Drink the kool-aid or get out.

Thank you for your review. As you know from our business model, we appreciate reviews as they are what allow us to continuously improve. Your rating of a 2.0 and the title of your post is disheartening, especially when we know we share information with our employees that most other organizations do not. Layoffs are never an easy decision to make, and we apologize that you felt blindsided by that decision. We will review our communication strategies to see what improvements we can make overall.

Pros
TrustRadius is a great place to work if you want to work from home and still collaborate with smart, fun, and supportive people every day. The work is fast-paced and interesting, but there's no expectation to work crazy, long hours. As a mom with two kids and a husband that regularly travels for work, flexibility is super important for me. My manager is respectful of the fact that I occasionally have personal obligations during office hours. I never feel awkward telling my boss that I have to pick up my kids from school or log out a little early to take them to a doctor's appointment. TrustRadius has exceeded my expectations when it comes to their understanding of my very human situation. I highly recommend TrustRadius as a company to work with or to work for.
Cons
I have not experienced any cons yet. It's a startup environment so you have to be willing to learn and grow along with the company. If you're looking for an easy job this is probably not a good fit.

The company I've been looking for
Apr 14, 2022 - Account Executive in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Transparent company culture - Great remote work culture - Willingness to invest in people - Open to new Ideas - Training - First Friday of every month TrustRadius doesn't cut corners, they ensure you have the equipment you need to do your job and compensate you very well compared to the rest of the market. The training you will receive here is always amazing. They have an actual program to ensure you are slowly ramped, unlike other sales jobs that will throw you to the wolves right out the gate. You also have the ability to talk to anyone. I worked at a larger company where before I has to schedule time on a C-Level calendar 3-5 business days out. What still shocks me here is I can have a direct dialogue with anyone in leadership I need to get in contact with from the Head of Marketing or the CEO in a matter of seconds.
Cons
While the benefits they offer are fantastic it would be nice to see a couple of new stipends around Gym memberships, student loan assistance, professional development ect.

Wonderful product, people, and leadership!
Apr 13, 2022 - Sales in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- The people here are #1. I love that everyone I work with is genuinely nice, driven, hard-working, fun, and willing to go the extra mile for the team and our customers. That environment helps me be the best version of myself, pushes me to be even more innovative, experimental, and to learn from each other. - The product and engineering teams have done an amazing job iterating, innovating, and working with industry-leading partners to create a best-in-class experience for our customers and prospects. - Leadership is engaged, open to input from everyone and at every level in the company, transparent about where we're going and what they expect from the team. - This isn't my first startup at this stage and there will be more inflection points and growing pains along the way (along with all of the celebrations as we hit milestones and growth goals). This team, from top to bottom, feels very equipped to handle those highs and lows and make the right choices along the way for the employees, customers, and company.
Cons
- Being a fast-paced startup means that there's always a lot to do so it's definitely hard at times to have a solid work/life balance.
