    Pros

Tucci has always been accommodating to meet the staff's needs when every possible. The supportive attitude of employees and families helps keep employees with the company for a long duration. Opportunities for training and advancement is appreciated. Team work is key in this company. I've never felt unsupported or like I was working on a case alone.

    Cons

Schedules change by nature of this job. It can be frustrating. The company is growing. While offering as much support as it does, there are growing pains but management is attentive in dealing with known issues.

I worked at Tucci Learning Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great way to obtain experience with behavior learners, flexible hours. You either in the click or you aren't. Company needs restructure.

    Cons

Bad management since the regional coordinator left. Everyone wants to be a boss. Company not doing good as it use to do.

    Advice to Management

    Company needs structure on management.

I worked at Tucci Learning Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - friendly and professional staff
    - comprehensive training modules
    - opportunities for advancement
    - fairly easy to pick up extra hours
    - serves most school districts in the area
    - school and home cases available
    - effective team communication and rapport building with clients

    Cons

    - sometimes kiddos end up repeating the same repertoires for years, thus not building on skills
    - some coordinators and even BCBA's are incompetent at various aspects of their job
    - lack a policy regarding dual relationships (I.E. - allowing therapists to babysit or stay at home without a caregiver to do therapy sessions)
    - no paid time off or sick days
    - units take WAY too long to get through (equiv. of a year's worth of college education practically) for the $2/hr raise they offer for doing them
    - no parent and/or teacher training on how to behaviorally support the children (all left to the therapists with no cross training)
    - people can get hired without any relevant training whatsoever (though subbing helps)

    Advice to Management

The unit requirement to get a raise is ridiculous. Consolidate the units or alter the demand to fit the needs of your employees. You can't force people to work on those units on their own time if they are hourly employees. Also, rather than just requiring a bachelor's degree for hire, make the stakes hire and search for candidates with relevant experience other than babysitting.

    Cons

Nothing negative to say! It's a great company to work for!

I have been working at Tucci Learning Solutions full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Daily opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of children, opportunities to be part of a skilled team working toward achieving common goals, many opportunities for growth and feedback. The work environment is collaborative and supportive. I love feeling like I GET to go to work every day, rather than I "have" to go to work every day, and I love going to sleep at night knowing I have been part of a team of people that improved a child's life that day. Scheduling is flexible, depending on your role within the company, and full time employees receive access to excellent benefit packages. The office staff is supportive and approachable, and always willing to work with you to improve job performance.

    Cons

This line of work can be emotionally draining at times, and requires a great deal of multi-tasking, but the many benefits definitely outweigh the challenges.

    Advice to Management

Continue having a great open-door policy with employees, continue all of the wonderful team-building. Management has come a long way in this organization!

I worked at Tucci Learning Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you need a part time job, then this is good for college people. You get paid twice a month and average start is $15 unless you are on the special team then you fall under the $4 more category.

    Cons

Bad management, too many chiefs not enough Indians. A lot of micromanagement, company seemed to go down hill with support staff and communication. There are some good BCBA's and some coordinators, but over all everyone wants to be the boss. There are some coordinators with no college education.

    Pros

Overall Tucci is a company with lots of room for growth for those who work hard. With little to no education I was able to work my way through the ranks in the company and was inspired to seek more education. This is a company that puts the families first and profit second. The management love their job and are inspiring.

    Cons

Office procedures change regularly. Only part time positions available but full time available for those who learn and master the Competent Learner Model.

    Advice to Management

Make raises based on actual field performance. Provide more opportunities for growth. Fire people who suck at their jobs or at least create protocol for dealing with these people.

I worked at Tucci Learning Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Doing something you love.
    - Making above average pay for a new job.
    - You can get as many after school hours as you can commit to.

    Cons

    - Behaviorist do all the work while the supervisors cash in.
    - Not all employees are up to the same caliber
    - Males are more valued.
    - If a parent cancels after school hours, there's no compensation. (well at least wasn't when I worked there).
    - Training is promised but inconsistent.

    Advice to Management

    - Flesh out your processes more, as there is room for a lot of improvement.
    - Refine supervisor/behaviorist relationships

too much responsibility without proper compensation

    Cons

no real room for growth unless you are in the "clique"

    Advice to Management

write people up consistently if they do not follow protocol, then fire them accordingly
