I worked at Tucson Federal Credit Union full-time

    Pros

Excellent departmental culture. Genuine care for the member. Technology was moving forward with the use of ITMs.

    Cons

While departmental culture is positive and overall the culture is positive. There are times when there was some "siloing" between departments.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Tucson Federal Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great culture on paper but they need work living up to it and taking care of employees.

    Cons

    Unprofessional management/HR relationships.
If upper management doesn't like you they'll fire/ force quit. HR "won't help" lower employees.

    Advice to Management

HR shouldn't go drinking with management. Branch managers should work in-branch instead of attending daily events presumably"creating loan dollars."

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Tucson Federal Credit Union (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I moved up quickly and learned a lot while I was there. Started working in the branch and then moved to the HR department. I was able to take that experience with me and get a fantastic job working from home when my husbands job took us out of state.

    Cons

Nothing that I can think of. I really enjoyed my time there.

    Pros

Decent pay and great benefits, training is good, Job is easy but can be stressful at times. Good environment depending on branch

    Cons

Maybe i just had a horrible experience but I will say CEO is great! VPs are good but they can be a bit unfair Management needs improvement. Be ready to get tasked for everything, even as a manager.

I have been working at Tucson Federal Credit Union full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They have a great cultural beliefs system in place. They promote from within.

    Cons

There is not enough hands on training for the Member Service Representatives. An employee with a strong work ethic cannot get past the bureaucracy in Human Resources Department. HR often targets people for termination.

    Advice to Management

Stay in touch personally with their employees, ask what they need, and deliver what is promised. Take a look at HR to see how they really treat people outside of their circle. Help those employees who express the desire to move up with their educational goals.
