    Advice to Management

After holding positions at a couple different organizations in the area, I feel I have found my "home". I was welcomed into TMCCC Wellesley with open arms. The people (providers, clinical staff, and administrative staff) are the friendliest and the kindest people I have at the opportunity to work with. The management team, both local and senior, have the up most respect for everyone in the office. Whether you have been in the office for one day, or 20 years, you feel appreciated and feel like you belong. Communication is key in a successful organization, and that is something that is taken in high regard at this facility. This is one of many reasons why the office is a success, and everyone gets along so well.

I worked at Tufts Medical Center part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No pros at all, horrible place to work.

    Cons

Old systems, No resources. Lack of appreciation. You are hired for one thing but end up doing the job of three people. Takes weeks and months for you to get log ins and passwords to things. Managers lack management experience. Providers feel like they are entitled to someone always doing something for them. Very disorganized and a lack of communication between management and employees. Everything is word of mouth and you can never get a clear answer about anything. Absolutely no training what so ever. Co-workers are very rude and unwilling to train new employees. You are never told you are doing a good job you are only told when you didn't do something right. you have men in the office who act like women. Overall just a very negative work environment. i wouldn't recommend this company to my worse nightmare. Save yourself the frustration and choose a hospital in Boston that will actually value you, and take the time to train you properly.

    Advice to Management

Do not higher someone for a management position just because they have been there for 17 years and you don't feel like going through the hiring process.
