I worked at Tupperware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    most associates genuinely nice people

    Cons

micromanagment, cronyism, managers have little to no management skills, few advancement opportunites and then only if you are one of the "favorities"
HQ office is a very toxic environment, elites get away with murder, everyone knows so it's a joke
executive management is milking the company dry

    Advice to Management

clean house on your HR team, they're terrible

I worked at Tupperware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discount on the Tupperware Products. Nice HR Manager who realizes that her hands are tied and the good ole boys are running the show.

    Cons

The most underdeveloped Supply Chain Organization in the 21st Century. Plant Manager would never last in another manufacturing environment because he is unable to understand the basics of supply chain and has zero respect for women in the workplace OR the concept of work in family. IT systems are under developed and everyone complains that they have so much work to do but they are really 'milking' it for fear of losing their job security. Office Non exempt employees work over time unnecessarily and spend most of their day on personal phone calls OR selling Tupperware on the side. They say they want to advance and learn how other successful companies function but they are not open to change whatsoever. The lifers better be thankful for their jobs because no other company that functions in this world would have them. The only good part about this company is the HR Manager and her department.

    Advice to Management

Say what you mean and be truthful and honest. Stop lying to corporate and own up for the decisions you make.

I worked at Tupperware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice work environment and furniture. Snacks for free.

    Cons

Very bad management, very conservative and stuck on the last century. It's easy for a senior employee to see that almost everyone is lost at there.

    Advice to Management

Don't care just about numbers, don't use your role as a ladder to a international position.
Stop mistreating employees, this only evidences your low self esteem and mind control.

    Pros

    Good concept for direct marketing

    Cons

Top bosses are never told the real problems. They never get down to the grassroots. It's the distributors who are burdened with all problems and never have the support of the management

    Advice to Management

At least clear the dues of the distributors who have Left you. They deserve to have their hard earned money. They've given the company their time and worked very hard to reach the position of a distributor

    Cons

Senior Management - very unprofessional & certain folks do not know what the heck they are doing
Only few selected people move up: lots of favourtism
A company that loves cheap labor
    Poor business practices
Company invests in certain people only
    Very old school

I worked at Tupperware (More than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Think about why so much people have left the company in the last 4 years.
