    Pros

    Flexibility, Benefits, Content, Industry, Location

    Cons

We are finding that it is also difficult for women to rise to senior level ranks. They are typically the one and only in their roles among men.

    Advice to Management

Diversity Diversity Diversity in every area with every type of person - women, people of color, disabilities. We need to make all levels of the organization a mix bag to provide opportunities for all. Everyone in current roles seem to hire someone that looks just like them.

I worked at Turner Broadcasting full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good Benefits, well established company, values promoting from within, many training and development opportunities. Company invests a lot of time and money in trying to develop its culture and rewarding its employees. Values creativity and building relationships

    Cons

ongoing change and restructuring. While company has many loyal long term employees, they struggle to retain new talent. There is a feeling of instability and fear of job loss that permeates the culture. Salary is also not as competitive as other companies. Some feel there is too much value placed on building relationships. This can discourage results driven and talented employees who may not excel in that area.

    Advice to Management

continue to work towards a more sustainable model so you can provide more stability for your loyal employees. Honor your legacy. Challenge your stock holders to think about the values the company wants to promote and the mark you want to leave on your employees and the world.

    Pros

Awesome benefits. Pto, medical, just overall benefits. Management is advocate for putting family firsr.

    Cons

Management is ole school.....keep your head down, do not offer suggestions, and no feedback. Company encourages creativity and utilize open door policy but their management team does not believe in where the company is company.

    Advice to Management

Stop getting rid of the under dogs and cut the heads so the body will follow.

I worked at Turner Broadcasting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a good work-life balance. The PTO and benefits are good and the yearly bonus structures are great. Good place to have a long career.

    Cons

The work can get pretty stagnant and there is not a lot of variety in the main campuses.

Not a con... if you like 9-5 work with no travel, then this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

The 20-20 cuts were too deep. Maybe engage with your teams at a grass roots level to see what is truly going on.
