I have been working at Turner Broadcasting full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I, like most people, find it a great place to work. However, like any large organization, job satisfaction is largely tied to who you report to and who you work with on a daily basis. I am fortunate that both are positive in my case.

    Cons

nothing so egregious that it's worth noting.

    Advice to Management

The culture is perhaps over-accommodating and forgiving to the extent that it is abused by a subset of the employee base who seeks to do the minimum to remain employed.

I worked at Turner Broadcasting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great growth enabling culture where bold ideas and solutions are respected, as well as rewarded. Company is in an industry severely challenged by competitors, indie startup content producers, and rampant piracy of original content. Therefore there is constant effort to improve every aspect of the business and adopt to whatever external changes come about.

    Cons

Sometimes politics, especially from higher up the food chain, dictate business decisions rather than data backed proposals.

    Pros

Good Professional training and freedom to learn on the job.

    Cons

Extremely Corporate mind, they claim a people's first policy but don't practice.

    Advice to Management

Invest in people, not in titles. Make it a happy environment and the employees will dedicate themselves.
