I have been working at Tutor Perini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Management isn't micromanaging the project. Don't come wanting "support" from the head office because this company let's you run the project the way you want to.
    - Cool projects. Perini Management Services focuses on very specific projects and they are typically so unique than average projects. Makes for interesting times.
    - Great colleagues with years of experience to draw upon.
    - Many of my colleagues have been with this company for 15+ years. There is a reason they stick around!
    - Flexible living conditions for each project. Hotel stays are not a requirement.

    Cons

    - The reimbursement system is slow. Out-of-pocket expenses can take weeks to get paid back. Not fun when $1,000+ dollars are owed to the employee.

    Advice to Management

    - Keep allowing the employees to make the project THEIR success. I can't thank you enough for that.

    Pros

paid the bills that is about all

    Cons

Terrible Management team at least on the project I am on. Work plans are non existent, safety is just a word and safety meetings are nothing more than a dog and pony show, Management provides very little answers and the answers or direction provided are merely vague cover your tail information. Field supervisors are nothing more than scapegoats and told to do unsafe work but hung out to dry if anything happens or someone observes and reports the action. The need to document everything is ridiculous but it is necessary to cover your tail with management.

    Advice to Management

    get a clue

    Pros

There are no pros, except a handful of the Carpenters are real good people to be around.

    Cons

Engineers fresh out of college who think they know your job better than you do. Upper management is clueless and should be walking in pampers, or strung out

    Advice to Management

Before you ruin someones life but moving them 2000 miles across the country and firing them before the first day, maybe you should keep a shorter leash on the superintendents and not let them lie about wages and compensation, moving expenses, hours, benefits, and on top of that let them drive 6000 miles no work for 2 weeks trying to make a breaking bad episode

Nothing, the Corporate office is run on fear

    Cons

Everything don't even think you will be considered a productive member of this company. You are a lowly dog and treated as such.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the money grubbing top executives and treat your employees like employees. Not like the lowly dogs you seem to think we are. Ron Tutor is an evil person.

    Pros

Pay is good. If you're out of college, this is a good place to start your career.

    Cons

Bad benefits, toxic environment and no career growth.

    Advice to Management

Need replace upper management. But it's nepotism. After Perini left, the company is going downhill. Just read the news articles. Looking as the review on Glassdoor and taking to coworkers, Tutor is bad for the company.
