    I worked at Twinings full-time

    Pros

Great people, great culture and great brands. I don't think there aren't many places where employees get so much autonomy, or are encouraged and supported to act so entrepreneurially, particularly in a business that's been around for 300 years!

    Cons

Andover isn't the most central of locations, but the ability to work from home in sales roles is a big plus.

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging the team to feedback, and keep acting on that feedback so that your people remain at the heart of the business.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Decent salaries for office employees. Freedom to act in your given role.a annual bonus. Generally friendly coworkers.

    Cons

No HR department. Warehouse employees treated as 2nd rate citizens. Upper management never holds themselves accountable for poor personnel or business decisions. Departments are almost encouraged to stand their ground on internal issues instead of working things out and moving forward.

    Pros

Good benefits good people to work with. The company does what it can to help you with issues. The pay is also good.

    Cons

There is no advancement opportunities in the distribution warehouse. They want you to learn different jobs but that's it. There is no communication with anyone.

    Advice to Management

Needs to have more contact with its employees let them know what's going on. Communicate with its employees about openings in other departments.

I have been working at Twinings part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing staff and a great company to work for with lots of benefits! You get an whole array of customers, lots of tourists, so it's very hands on and busy! Also get lots of responsibility.

    Cons

I don't have any cons. For some because it's busy they may find it overwhelming and stressful, so you've got to be fast- paced to stay on top of things. Great if you're highly customer focused!

    Advice to Management

Keep everything the same! The management and team are one of the best teams I've worked for. It's really enjoyable working for the company.

    I worked at Twinings full-time

    Pros

Great people and part of the great place to work scheme. Freedom to act is high.

    Cons

Don't necessarily promote or keep the best people. Could spend slightly more money to get things done right and keep the best people rather than making do.

I worked at Twinings full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Growing business, heaps of autonomy, limited 'you must do it this way', engaging organisational culture and corporate values

    Cons

Autonomy and growth sometimes means it is hard to keep pace with collaboration and networking across geographies and divisions

    Advice to Management

Be more visable...even with Autonomy there is a role for inspiring leaders in twinings, I know you are those people so don't shy away from that aspect of your role.
