    Pros

Managers are some what flexible with your schedule. There was a good work ethic and most other employees were very nice people.

    Cons

I have really nothing bad to highlight, my experience at Simplex Grinnell was great where I made good friends. The only strange thing I noticed was that upper management had an impressive turn over.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

I was still in college and wanted a way to make some money over the summer. I was paid better than I would have flipping burgers. Coworkers were pretty friendly, and management didn't seem too hardnosed.

    Cons

Lots of bureaucracy; job scheduling seemed to be handled poorly.

    Advice to Management

Invest in a quality project management system.

I have been working at Tyco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great culture, very smart people

    Cons

politics and bureaucracy cause it to move more slowly than desired, despite the 'billion dollar startup' that management likes to spread.

    Advice to Management

Find a better process for reviews, raises, promotions and bonuses. It's truly terrible to promise something and for it to take over a year to get approval.
