I worked at Tyson Foods full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Paid every week, family environment, good supervisors, and good people to work with, especialy in Final Pack, which was my family

    Cons

Work in the cold unless you worked in the ovens, however, if you work fast enough, you can keep warm

    Advice to Management

Communication needs to be better, don't think that the work horse, I was one, is the only person to rely on, make those who don't pull their weight either pull it or fire them.

I have been working at Tyson Foods full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Tyson's core values are a big part of why the working environment is very friendly and inviting. Tyson's competitive salary rates and affordable health benefits are also a plus especially in these tough economic times. The actual work is challenging but not hard, engaging but not stressful. Ergonomically Tyson strives to make sure no Team member's job has a negative effect on their body. Safety is always at the forefront.

    Cons

    No cons come to mind

    Advice to Management

Spend more time getting to know the team members personally. Team members feel uncomfortable and less confident working for people that seem culturally or socially distant.
