I have been working at U.S. Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great work environment
District Manager engaged and helps you achieve career goals
    Focus is on customer service

    Cons

    Benefits are not that great
    Pay lower than other banks
A bit behind on technology updates to branches

    Advice to Management

Some very good managers, but those that are not are very aggressive or overwhelming to the point they micromanage you. It is understandable there is pressure but creating a stressful work environment because you yourself are not doing what you should be doing does not increase productivity. Try to focus more on developing and adapting your managerial techniques as people do not respond to a 'one size fits all' management style, and focus less on trying to desperately be a suck-up to your superiors.

    I worked at U.S. Bank full-time

    Pros

Banker hours are truly 9-5 Monday thru Friday with all holidays

    Cons

Selling credit cards and loans over the phone to existing customers who never even asked for a call gets old day in and day out when there is little traffic inside the actual bank anymore.
