    Work is constant work and it never stops.

    Dealing with weather overall and safety driving during harsh conditions.

    I am a United States Air Force Veteran that served in 3 tours. I drove tractor trailer trucks in Korea and Standard dump trucks to haul material in Saudi Arabia.

    The schedule is the best pro. Additionally the people I work with are very friendly and helpful. I also have a great management team that is willing to help you learn

    The biggest downside to working for the government is that you are subject to funding by congress.

    Great benefits. Great mission.

    Cons

    Terrible management. Too many co-workers are inept and substandard in their work ethics. Too little accountability of the funds the agency receives. Too much waste, fraud and abuse.

    Advice to Management

    Accountability at both management and subordinate level is a must! Too many managers are lazy and lack program knowledge to adequately oversee the work of their subordinates.

    Health Insurance coverage for you,spouse,and children. Room for Promotion, especially if you're willing to travel. Get paid vacation and sick leave. Invest in stocks.
